Cambridge Amber Elegant Glass 2pc Cheese & Cracker Set
Here is a beautiful cheese and cracker set in amber elegant glass. This has a small, footed, stemmed comport for the cheese that sets in a special plate. The plate has a ground base with an impressed star and subtle optic panels that ring the interior but do not extend to the rim. Neither piece is marked and were identified as Cambridge based on the stem shape of the cheese comport. These are niftyy pieces that are perfect for parties. You can put a cheese ball in the small comport and crackers or, if you prefer nutritious snacks, vegetables on the plate. This is a rich, deep shade of amber that will be wonderful in your home! Cheese comport is 2 7/8 inches tall and 5 3/4 inches across at the lip. The matching plate is 10 1/4 inches across. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks and wear is light. Federal Petal Sun Gold Retro Glass Cross Arches 11 1/2 inch Plate
Petty dark gold plate is from Federal Glass and made in the 1950s. This retro style is called Petal, which fits its pretty shape, pointed tips with the deeply molded crosses and arches. This color is dark gold, and my daughter who collects this pattern tells me it is Sun Gold. This is the large sized plate; it is 11 1/2 inches across from tip to tip.
Plate is in excellent condition with no cracks and minimal surface wear. There is a tiny 1/16 inch pinhole on the flat part underneath of one of the petals.

Fostoria Contour 1950s Flared Crystal 13.5 inch Curled Up Torte Plate
This is a very unusually shaped torte plate with its swinging curves and upward tilts. The pattern is Contour, first made in the 1950s - and you could tell that just by the modernistic shape so typical of the mid-century design!
Torte plate is 13 1/2 inches across and is Fostoria's heavy crystal with a ground base rim. Plate is in very good condition, free of chips or cracks. There is moderate wear.
This piece is odd shaped and will take a large box that incurs a surcharge from the post office; if you live far then UPS may be a more economical shipping method for you. Shipping cost shown in the calculator is the total and is based on 8 pounds, $1.50 packaging and insurance.

Fostoria Jamestown Crystal 11 inch 2-Handled Cake Plate Serving Tray
Looking for a good plate for cake or to serve goodies at your upcoming summer events? Look no further. This is the clear crystal 2-handled plate in Fostoria Jamestown elegant glass. Jamestown has a neat twist shape design with scalloped rim and ground base rim. The handles are oblique and go perfectly with the twisted design. You'll enjoy using this! Plate is 11 inches from the tip of one handle to the tip of the other and 9 3/8 inches across not counting the handles. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and it has good glass clarity with no haziness. Fostoria Lafayette Topaz Yellow 2-Handled 8 inch Oval Tray
Here is the 2-handled oval tray in Fostoria's luscious topaz yellow Lafayette glass. Lafayette has a slightly scalloped rim and two fancy handles that look like ribbon bows. It is a pretty patten when etched and pretty when it is unetched as with this tray. You could use this for small servings of food or to show off your holiday cards and tags. It is a nice small size, easy to use and easy to display. Oval tray is just under 11 inches long from handle tip to handle tip and 8 1/2 inches without the handles. It is 6 3/4 inches wide. Heisey Athena Reverse S 5041 13 1/2 Inch Crystal Cake Torte Plate
Looking for a special cake plate for the graduation, wedding or shower party coming up? Here is one from Heisey Glass, in their Athena or Reverse S pattern. Reverse S is a perfect name with the upturned rim being lavished with S shapes separated by vertical bars. This is a large plate suitable for a torte or cake. Heisey was known for their fine quality crystal. They made Athena about 1943 and it is unmarked as it was sold through Montgomery Wards. Plate is 13 1/2 inches across and had a turned up rim. It is not perfectly flat and has a slight slope and center indentation, as normal for torte plates. Plate is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is noticeable wear and we've shown the center close up to give you a feeling for it. Be sure to check the pictures that are after the description to see the details of the rim design. MacBeth Evans Oxford Bouquet Chinex 11 3/4 inch Plate
Those MacBeth Evans Chinex/Cremax patterns can be confusing, can't they! This is the Oxford pattern, sometimes called Chinex. The rim has two bands of ribbing. The interior band straight ribbing, about 1 inch wide and the outer band is slanted. The slanted ribbing and the scalloped rim give this a ruffly, petticoat look. Please see the closeup for the pattern detail. The translucent white glass body is referred to as Cremax. With the flower decal the pattern becomes Bouquet or Oxford Bouquet. Plate is 11 3/4 inches across. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. This was made just after the depression, but the glass has some of the typical flaws that give depression glass its charm. There is a 1/8 inch long little wrinkle in the top near the rim and there are some stretch marks in the white body. There is very little wear. When we got this it was filthy but under the dirt was a very pretty plate that you'll enjoy having!

MacBeth Evan's Petalware salver hasan unusual decoration of gold flowers on a geometric band just under the petal rim. You are bidding on one salver. If you enjoy this pattern please check my other listings for the matching saucers which you can purchase separately.
Salver is 10 1/2 inches across. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Gold wear is about 15%. If you detest the gold trim it comes off easily with a soft gum pencil eraser.

Queen Mary Clear Crystal Depression Glass 12 inch Cake Sandwich Plate
Hocking Glass' Queen Mary depression glass pattern is also called Vertical Ribbed due to its srtrong ribbed design. This was made between 1936 and 1940 and the name reflects the fascination that Britsh royalty had for America during the depression. This is the 12 1/8 inch sandwich plate or round serving platter. You'll enjoy serving all sorts of goodies on this plate as it is a great size for sandwiches, cookies or even a cake. There is no special cake plate in Queen Mary and this would be the right size. The flat part of the plate is just under 10 inches wide. Plate is 12 1/8 inches across includig the wide rim. The ribbed design is on the underside, leaving the top nice and smooth. This is bright and shiny and catches the light to sparkle beautifully. Plate is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. It has very little, almost no wear and glass is nice and clear. Windsor Crystal Depression 10 1/4 inch Pointed Edge Service Plate
Here is the interesting pointed edge plate in Jeannette's crystal depression Windsor. Plate has a rim with pointy shaped scallops instead of the usual rounded scallops. This is larger than the plates usually called dinner plates, but could be used for that or as smaller serving plates.
Plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and virtually no wear. It is 10 1/4 inches aross.
