This has a small, footed, stemmed comport for the cheese that sets in a special plate. Federal Petal Sun Gold Retro Glass Cross Arches 11 1/2 inch Plate Petty dark gold plate is from Federal Glass and made in the 1950s. This retro style is called Petal, which fits its pretty shape, pointed tips with the deeply molded crosses and arches. This color is dark gold, and my daughter who collects this pattern tells me it is Sun Gold.

This is the large sized plate; it is 11 1/2 inches across from tip to tip.
Plate is in excellent condition with no cracks and minimal surface wear. There is a tiny 1/16 inch pinhole on the flat part underneath of one of the petals.  

Federal Sharon Cabbage Rose Clear Depression Glass Footed Cake Plate Do you enjoy vintage cake plates and depression glass? Fostoria Glass June Etched Azure Blue Square-Handled 6 3/4 in Bon Bon Looking for that unique gift for someone special - like you? Here is an unusual azure blue bon bon etched with Fostoria's gorgeous June ribbons, bows and flowers. This wonderful vintage etching dates to 1928 to 1943 in this perfect azure blue color. The unsual point about this bon bon is the square handles and most pieces of June have the bow handles. We all need that little indulgence and this is perfect!

June has a ribbon that loops under the bow and goes way around under the top flower garland. a second bow ties the bouquet with streamers. It is similar to the later Romance etch but you can tell it apart by the second ribbon. This bon bon is octagonal and has raised two raised sides with the curvy square handles.

Bon bon is 2 3/4 inches tall at the very top of the handle and is 6 3/4 inches across at the longest. Pretty blue etched plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Wear is fairly light and pretty much general all over vintage wear.

Heisey Glass Waverly Crystal Graduated Bead Rim Swirl Cake Torte Plate Here is a pretty vintage crystal torte plate that will be great this spring to serve your graduation cake or that special cake for a shower or birthday or anniversary. This pattern is Heisey Glass Waverly, which was made from 1947 to 1957 and came in a large number of pieces. The design is pretty neat with scallops and series of graduated glass beads on the rim. The plate itself has swirls and a slightly inset center. The base rim is ground, as you would expect from a noted elegant glass maker like Heisey.

Plate is 14 inches across. Good news is it has no chips or cracks. You can use this without feeling afraid to cut the cake because the plate has been used and already shows wear. You can see the most noticeable wear in the close up. The glass is nice and clear.

Imperial Molly Pink Depression Glass 10.25in 2-Handle Tray Cake Plate This beautiful pink depression glass cake plate will make you smile every time you get it out to serve your cookies or snacks. This is pattern number 725, Molly, from Imperial Glass. It is a light candy pink without a trace of yellow or gray. This is the 10 1/4 inch 2-handled cake plate or serving tray.

Plate is 10 1/4 inches across without counting the handles and 12 inches with the handles. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and wear is light. There is one spot, about 1 inch square, that is full of tiny bubbles that you can see by holding the plate to the light.

If you collect elegant pink depression glass or Imperial's Molly pattern, you'll want this plate!  

MacBeth Evans Oxford Bouquet Chinex 11 3/4 inch Plate Those MacBeth Evans Chinex/Cremax patterns can be confusing, can't they! This is the Oxford pattern, sometimes called Chinex. The rim has two bands of ribbing. The interior band straight ribbing, about 1 inch wide and the outer band is slanted. The slanted ribbing and the scalloped rim give this a ruffly, petticoat look. Please see the closeup for the pattern detail.

The translucent white glass body is referred to as Cremax. With the flower decal the pattern becomes Bouquet or Oxford Bouquet.

Plate is 11 3/4 inches across. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. This was made just after the depression, but the glass has some of the typical flaws that give depression glass its charm. There is a 1/8 inch long little wrinkle in the top near the rim and there are some stretch marks in the white body. There is very little wear. When we got this it was filthy but under the dirt was a very pretty plate that you'll enjoy having!  

Queen Mary Clear Crystal Depression Glass 12 inch Cake Sandwich Plate Hocking Glass' Queen Mary depression glass pattern is also called Vertical Ribbed due to its srtrong ribbed design. This was made between 1936 and 1940 and the name reflects the fascination that Britsh royalty had for America during the depression. This is the 12 1/8 inch sandwich plate or round serving platter.

You'll enjoy serving all sorts of goodies on this plate as it is a great size for sandwiches, cookies or even a cake. There is no special cake plate in Queen Mary and this would be the right size. The flat part of the plate is just under 10 inches wide.

Plate is 12 1/8 inches across includig the wide rim. The ribbed design is on the underside, leaving the top nice and smooth. This is bright and shiny and catches the light to sparkle beautifully. Plate is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. It has very little, almost no wear and glass is nice and clear.

Red Wing Tan Flecks Bob White Quail Go-With 12 Relish 5-Part Nut Bowl Here is a really neat, nice piece of vintage Red Wing pottery in the Tan Flecks color that would blend nicely with the Bob White Quail, Random Harvest and other mid-century Red Wing patterns. This is shape number 446 and is referred to as a 5-part nut bowl, but to me it looks like a great way to serve veggies and dip. This was shown in a 1956 catalog page (thanks, Tamara) and was still being made in 1967. That is a lot of nuts!

Relish or nut bowl is 12 1/4 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. Color is a soft, pleasing tan with darker tan speckles and a glossy glaze. It's a nice color that you want to touch. Relish is in excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, virtually no wear.

1950s Retro Rio Grande Pink & Charcoal Gray Ceramic Relish Lazy Susan Free US Shipping!

If you are looking for a gift for someone who enjoys retro 1950s styling look no further! This is a really neat vintage ceramic lazy susan relish tray in pink with charcoal gray accents. I saw this and it reminded me of my mom's 1950s kitchen with its pink walls and charcoal countertops. Pink with gray was the color combination in 1955 and this fits right in.

This is by maker Rio Grande and is marked Rio Grande Dallas USA 5400 Oven Proof.

This nifty lazy susan has four outer serving pieces, each with a scalloped rim to give a good handle, that surround a center round section with a lid. It would be perfect for cheese or dip with veggies or crackers. Can't you imagine using this at your next party?

The ceramic serving pieces set on a wooden tray (also pinkish beige with charcoal) that has a metal foot. The tray rotates to bring the compartment with your favorite snack around to you. Syracuse China Carefree Concord Rose Blue 12 in Oval Platter Free US Shipping!

Here is the 12 1/2 inch oval serving platter in Syracuse China Carefree pattern Concord Rose. Concord Rose are coupe shaped pieces in glossy white. The design is a medium blue rose with soft green leaves and stem. This is part of Syracuse China's Carefree line.

Platter is 12 1/2 inches long and about 11 1/4 inches across, so it is a rounded oval shape. It is in excellent condition, free of any chips or cracks and very minor wear.  

Windsor Crystal Depression 10 1/4 inch Pointed Edge Service Plate Here is the interesting pointed edge plate in Jeannette's crystal depression Windsor. Plate has a rim with pointy shaped scallops instead of the usual rounded scallops.
