Paden City 881 Cut Leaf Spray Crystal 6 inch 2-Handled Bowl
Beautiful 2-handled crystal bowl is cut with an appealing design of graceful leaf sprays on branches. The cut is somewhat reminiscent of Fostoria's Sprite, but you can see the difference with the placement of the leaves and the way the stems curve on this bowl. My helpful co-members of the Glass & Pottery Sellers Association identified this as Paden City line number 881 based on the handle shapes. This is a very nice bowl that is elegant in form and cut. Bowl has two tab handles and cuts around the rim plus the curvy leaf spray cuts. The handles have three ribs flanked by s-shaped curlicues, quite art deco like. The base has a ground rim. This is good quality crystal from the elegant depression era. Bowl is just under 6 inches across not counting the handles and is 7 1/4 inches wide from handle tip to handle tip. It is 1 3/4 inches tall. Pretty bowl is in excellent shape with no chips and no cracks. Wear is very light and glass has beautiful clarity. If you enjoy Paden City or just love beautiful glass you'll want this piece!

Paden City Glass Art Deco Decorated Green Center Handled Server CHS
Isn't this a neat art deco designed piece? The center handled server is shaped like an eight-sided shallow bowl making it perfect for serving cookies, fruit, nuts or crackers in style! You'll have the perfect converation piece when you use this great glass from the 1930s. Center handled server, or CHS, is green glass and was made by Paden City glass, then trimmed with gold around the edges and reddish burnt umber, brown black and ochre painted design of curved diamonds. Very very nice and a perfect example of this time period and style. Center handled server is 9 1/2 wide measuring across the flat edges and a little over 10 inches measuring point to point. The curved up sides are about 2 inches tall at the points and the whole glass piece is about 4 1/2 to 5 inches tall. Server is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks and minimal wear to the glass. The black, burnt umber and ochre painted design has very light wear and the gold around the rim is about 95% intact with some wear on the pointed tips. There are gold curlicue scrolls under every other design and these range from about 30 to 60% intact. The part with the most wear is shown in the close up to give you a better idea what you are getting. You will enjoy having this super find so much. It will be a great display piece for your collection and then you can bring it out when you want that unique serving piece and show off your taste for vintage art deco American glass.

Paden City Georgian Crystal 3 1/4" 6 oz 2 Seam Tumbler
Here is the 3 1/4 inch tall tumbler in crystal Georgian pattern with a ground base rim and two seams. Many companies made Georgian designs but we can rule out several of them due to the ground base rim and 2 seams. This is tentatively identified as Paden City. Tumbler is 3 1/4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches across at the lip. It holds about 6 ounces when filled to the brim, or about 4 ounces if you don't want to spill. Tumbler is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and wear is very light. Glass has good heft and clarity and shows no signs of water spotting or cloudiness.
