Fostoria Evening Star Cut 869 Chateau Blank Champagne
Here is the sherbet or champagne in Fostoria's classically simple Evening Star. This cutting is of several eight- and six-pointed stars of various sizes scattered over the bowl. The stem has six facets on the lower portion that meets with an eight-groved top section. It's different, simple and effective, all hallmarks of the early 1960s; this was made from 1959 to 1965. Champagne or sherbet is 5 3/8 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches across at the lip. It is in excellent condition, free of any chips or cracks and without wear. Glass is clear and sparkly. This is one of the very few pieces I've found that is marked with the Fostoria name acid etched on the underside. If you have pieces of this elegant glass you'll want to add this one!

2+ Bonus Fostoria Crystal Large Star Cutting 81 8oz Tumblers
Here is a pair of unusual, old cut water tumblers from Fostoria plus a bonus tumbler. For today's use these would make wonderful tumblers when you want to have a little more special meal with your family or friends. Tumblers have three large starbursts spaced evenly around the sides. These tumblers are identified as the Large Star cutting 81. Many companies produced similar star cuttings and these were felt to be Fostoria by comparing the number of rays and so on. We have a set of small wine stems with the same cutting listed separately and will be glad to combine your purchases to save you shipping. Water tumblers are 4 1/4 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches across at the lip. They hold between 8 ounces when filled to the brim, so figure smaller amounts if you prefer not to spill. The bottoms are fully ground with a cut star, and these are really nice, high quality crystal. Both tumblers are in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with virtually no wear. One tumbler has an irregularity in the side of the rim making it not perfectly smooth; this is not damage but a small flaw that you can feel on close inspection. The bonus tumbler is the same pattern but has two nicks in the rim; please let us know whether you prefer us not to send it to you.

Fostoria Nosegay Floral Cut #834 Creamer Retro Contour Blank #6051
Fostoria made Nosegay from 1953 to 1972, when styles favored simplicity and lack of ornamentation. The Contour blank has the 1950s retro modern look with its angled handles and round shapes. Nosegay is a cut design of a small flower and leaf spray on the front with a band of narrow cut ovals around the midsection. The base has a ground rim and the glass is fairly heavy with a thicker base than many Fostoria patterns. You are bidding on the creamer. Creamer is 3 1/4 inches tall and about 4 1/2 inches long from the spout to the handle. It is in excellent condition, with two tiny pinholes on the ground base rim. Wear is very light and mainy on the ground base rim. This is cutting number 834 on Contour blank number 6051.

Fostoria Laurel Cut on Sceptre Blank Cordial
Fostoria cordial features the Laurel cut on the 6017 sceptre blank. Laurel was made 1938-59, and then again as part of the Nostalgia line 1980-82. The cordial was not brought back for the Nostalgia promotion, however (info from Long & Seate, 'Fostoria Stemware'). Laurel is a stately pattern. Cordial is just under 4 inches tall and is just under 1 5/8 inches wide at the rim. Cordial is in mint condition, no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
