This is a beautiful dinner plate that is lavishly decorated on the rim with gold flowers and leaves on thorny vines. Plate is marked Imperial Limoges, Limoges France and certainly qualifies as fine quality china with its scalloped shape, thin, pure white base and gorgeous gold rose sprays.

| We were unable to identify the pattern. Even without a name, this is a beautiful plate. We bought it from an estate sale where the owners displayed this in a plate hanger. You are purchasing one plate. The design shows sprays of golden serrated leaves, five-petal open flowers and thorny vines and tendrils on the rim and there is a thin gold line on the inside edge of the rim and on the outer rim as well. The plate is are gently scalloped and has a small foot. This special plate is 9 3/4 inches across. Plate is in excellent shape, free of chips, cracks, crazing and minimal wear. The white section shows no wear and the gold is about 98% intact. This is a gorgeous plate for use or display! |
