This platter is almost opalescent with thin spots on the rim that look blue. Platter is 13 inches long, 10 1/8 inches wide and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are small wrinkles in the underside of the rim and little strawmarks on the center, typical flaws that give depression glass its charm.
