Wedgwood China Blue Jasperware Queensware Dish - Wedgwood Collectors Society
Lovely small Blue Jasperware or Queensware Wedgwood china or pottery dish with raised letters marking it memento of 'The Wedgwood Collectors Society'. Possibly an ash tray (ashtray), but could be used for decor or for holding any small items. Raised white center decor of male bust with impressed initials 'W.H.'. Round with 4 3/8 inch diameter, sits 5/8 inch high. Impressed markings on back, 'Wedgwood, Made in England, GW'. Excellent condition, some minor white scuffing on back & a few tiny white dots near bust.

Two excellent condition Wedgwood China 'Wellesley' bread & butter plates, 7 inches in diameter, with impressed floral & circular design and multi-colored floral center pattern. Impressed markings on back 'Wedgwood, Made in England, 2537' and printed markings 'Wellesley, Wedgwood, Made in England, U.S.A. Patent D.93217, Bullfinch U.S.A. Des. Wedgwood China Kutani Crane Shell Shaped Bowl/Dish
Neat small shell-shaped dish by Wedgwood China in the Kutani Crane pattern. We have 2 of these being sold separately. We are not sure what this was used for, whether a serving or side dish for mints, shrimp, sauces or what. Bowl is molded to have ridges throughout like a large scallop shell. Elegant intricate design on inside center of bowl (outside is plain white), of bird or crane among a flowered bush, with surrounding design on the inside walls of more flowers and edge trimmed in gold. Sits about 1 3/8 inches in height with top dimensions of about 6 x 5 7/16 inches and a smaller round base with a diameter of about 2 3/8 inches.
We also have a few dinner plates (scratched) and tea cups (no saucers) from this set, all of which came from the same home (please use the 'question' button to e-mail for more information). The shell dish is fully marked on the underside as shown in the images. Please note the white 'hot spots' in the images are lighting reflection from the camera on the glossy surface.
Excellent overall condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing. The individual 2 dishes have minor imperfections such as tiny scratches which look to be from normal use that can only be seen in bright light when held at an angle, tiny orange dots, a few black pin dots, other expected wear, etc. Data on an individual dish will be forwarded on request. While we point all this out to be fair, none of this is major, most wouldn't see this, and none detracts from the beauty of the pieces. Terrific by itself for display use or as an accent piece, as well as an impressive addition to a collection of this beautiful china pattern. Priced each.

Small Wedgwood China Blue Jasperware Queensware Ash Tray (Ashtray)
Lovely small Wedgwood china blue Jasperware or Queensware Ash Tray with tradition raised white leafy design around the edge and two 'indentations' for cigarettes. Round, measuring 3 5/8 inches in diameter, marked on the bottom side with impressed 'Wedgwood' (hard to see, but there), 'Made in England'. Excellent conditon, no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, we see nothing wrong with it. A nice piece.
