Egyptienne Cigarette Silks
37 different cigarette silks, each sold separately. One, of a lady (Ethel Johnson) is unmarked; the other 36 are marked as coming from Egyptienne cigarettes. Of these, 9 are of college or university logos and marked 'Egyptienne Luxury' (and 'Factory No. 7 3rd District State N.Y.'), while 27 show individual flags and the corresponding name from different cities or countries, with these marked 'Egyptienne Straights Cigarettes' (and on many 'Factory No. 2153 Third Dist. N.Y.').
Size about 1 3/4 x 3 1/4 inches for the college silks, about 2 1/8 x 3 1/4 inches for the flag silks, and 1 5/8 x 3 inches for the lady. Varied condition: a few excellent having all edges still nice; most showing some frayed edges (at varied amounts), with some having soiling or creases.
