Vintage Rustic-looking Wood Rolling Pin, Kitchen Baking Collectible Old Wood Rolling Pin, measures about 17 inches in length, 2 inches in diameter to the rolling portion. There is a small hole through one handle to permit adding a string for hanging. This pin was left to have the original raised lines to the wood or striations still visible throughout, rather than being filed smooth (you can feel the striations in addition to seeing them), so it has a nice rustic appearance. While we're not certain, from the pattern to the striations it looks like this rolling pin was made from just one piece of wood cut to this shape.

Good vintage used condition. As visible in the image, there is much wear to the top outer brown coloring to the rolling pin throughout. There is also some unevenness to one handle, with indentations rather than an even line, but we think this may be how the wood originally was or else a flaw in how the piece was made. A very nice primitive-looking piece which would make a great addition to any collection of antique kitchen collectibles, kitchen utensils or woodenware.

Vintage Wood Honey Dip Dipper Server Nice old wood honey dip or honey dipper or honey server. This is a vintage piece, not new, from the overall look and darkening of the wood. It came out of an older person's home along with other old kitchen items, utensils and gadgets.

This appears to have been made in three pieces that were then fitted or glued together (although no evidence of glue is seen). One piece of wood was nicely turned with deep grooves for the spiral dipping part. This was fitted onto a wood rod, with a rounded wood cap piece fitted on the bottom end. The dipper measures about 6 inches in length, about 1 inch in width and sits 1 inch high laying on a table (and it rolls easily on the table).

Very nice old condition, with no major chips, cracks, or large flaws. There is evidence of age and use wear as expected via some very very tiny chipping on the ends of the spiral grooves and the upper end of the bottom cap piece, some darkening/dark spotting on the end cap and the outside of the spirals, other general scraping/scarring/use wear and a largely all over dull white (not bright) spotting and other scarring on the upper outer top end of the spiral part. In the middle of the bar handle it looks like someone carved their initials into the wood by hand; these could be "RND".

A nice vintage wood piece to add to a kitchen utensil collection or to display in an old jar on a coutertop with other kitchen gadgets.

Vintage Wood Handle Button Hook Collectible Neat antique button hook likely used to lace up women's shoes, although some people also use these as crochet hooks in doing crocheting. Has a nifty old turned wood handle with a metal cap underneath the metal button hook part (we don't know what type of metal this is but it is not sterling or silver plate). There are no manufacturers markings to indicate exact age, but from the handle type, old wood and condition, we would guess that this dates to the 1920s period or earlier.

Measures about 5 1/4 inches in length, 3/4 inch in width and sits 3/4 inch in height when laying on a table.

While all there, this piece does show its age, giving it a great older appearance. There are two elongated cracks in the wood handle starting at the metal cap with lengths of about 1 1/4 inches each. The wood used for the handle itself is of the type that has inset lines in the wood making it look like there are other cracks all over when these are naturally occurring lines which give it character. There are, however, also line cracks on the outer end of the wood handle that are cracks, not natural wood lines. There are two lines encircling the wood handle which were put there when made as part of the design, perhaps to aid in gripping. There is a bit of dark spotting on the wood with other age wear via some scraping/rubbing, etc. The cap itself has two cracks going vertically along its sides like the wood handle, as well as much white/gray spotting/wear and some denting on its topside (the side near the metal rod). You can turn the handle when holding onto the metal hook part; it doesn't come apart and we don't know if it was originally meant to be able to be turned. The metal hook has tarnish/dark spotting, some rusting (not bad) and several tiny indentations/lines/marks/scrapes/denting from use, but no cracks.

A nifty vintage piece which was clearly used but this gives it a great old look and believeability of age. A nice addition to any collection of button hooks or wood handled utensils in general.

Vintage Kitchen Utensil Collectible Wood Food Masher This vintage wood food masher does not look to have been made out of one piece of wood, but perhaps was made in three pieces, one for the bottom masher, one for the handle stem and one for the rounded top to the stem. We are guessing this based on visible lines where these parts join, all is tightly fit together/not loose. The old masher or measures about 9 1/4 inches in length/height when standing, with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches to the round base end. When stood on end the piece wobbles slightly before standing still so the end part is not totally flat, probably from years of pounding. This is definitely not a new piece but we are uncertain as to exact age. You can see evidence of use/wear/pounding from the visible crack in the end, two crack lines where the top of the base part meets the stem, lots of scratches/indentations/wear around the outside of the base part, some age darkening/wear to the handle where it was held, etc. But all this adds to the great look of the piece for us and believability of age. The very base end of this antique kitchen utensil or vintage cooking utensil is a very dark color from all the use/pounding, while the rest of the wood is of a light/medium wood color with visible striations/lines in the wood as expected.
