Anchor Hocking Fire King Jadeite Jane Ray Sugar Lid Only
This is the lid only from the Fire King (Fire-King) Jadeite (Jade-ite) Jane Ray pattern sugar bowl. Usually folks break the lid and are left with an open sugar bowl...we got this out of a home where they had broken the bowl and were left with the lid! We've provided four images, please note the white "hot spots" are reflections from the camera lighting on the shiny glass surface.
Round, measuring about 3 3/8 inches in diameter, top tab handle so piece sits about 1 1/2 inches in height, has inner rim on underside to fit into base with this measuring about 3 inches in outer diameter. Very nice usable condition with no large chips or breaks, but not mint. On the inner underside rim which fits into the sugar base there are three small chips on the inside and some other rough areas which may be some tiny flakes...not unexpected for vintage used pieces repeatedly taken on and off. These are not noticeable unless you go looking closely and do not effect usability, but you should know this is there. Piece has other expected minor use wear but not major (dots, tiny scratches, etc.). Also has some made in manufacture straw lines, dots, waves in glass. Very accepatable, serviceable piece to complete your set.
