Original 1900 antique maps (antique map), two-sided (different maps on each side of the page), from 'Peerless Atlas of the World', Farm & Fireside Library, No. 181, March 1900, published by The Crowell & Kirkpatrick Co., Springfield, Ohio. Size about 14 x 22 in. (a double page spread with tri-fold lines). Overall condition for age very good, but pages very brittle. The Ohio & Illinois maps have most corners missing at an angle (one is much larger than the other 2, these don't extend into the map itself, but the large one comes close), tears along tri-folds that extend into maps and one similar page edge tear plus other page edge roughness (we think most of this would not be seen matted & framed).
Listed here are two maps. One is the map with the United States (as it existed in 1900) on one side, with a combined map on the other of Massachusetts, Connecticut & Rhode Island (MA, CT, RI). The other map has Ohio on one side and Illinois on the other. Another 7 maps are listed in a group separately. As an example, we've shown the Minnesota map from the same book.
