4707
Royal Haeger #407 black pony figurine Standing 5 1/2 inches tall, this dapper little fella is done in a black glossy glaze and has the number 407 on the base in a blue pencil. In perfect condition, this small figurine shows the genuis of Royal Hickman in its lines. It can be seen on page 209 of the Paradis book, the House of Haeger 1914-1944. This version of the figurine dates from after Royal Hickman's departure as it carries the later standard gold crown label. I believe this to be from the late 1940s or early 1950s. Add it to your horse or Royal Haeger collection today.

4045
Royal Haeger R669 Cube Cigarette Box Shown on page 60 of the Paradis 1944-1969 Post-War Era book on Haeger, this Royal Haeger covered cigarette box is named there the Cube Checked Cigarette Box. It measures 7 inches long x 4 inches wide. It is most likely a Royal Hickman design as most of the numbers in the range of production carrying the R were.

It features a base and lid with crosshatching in what I think is the Persian Grey glaze. The lid or finial of the piece is figural, most likely a fish or a stylized whale, a common Hickman design. It is in excellent condition. Add it to your Royal Haeger or Royal Hickman or American Art Pottery collection today.

4890
Royal Haeger 1016-S 18 inch long ashtray Measuring a whooping 18 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide at its widest point, this is one party ashtray!! It features 16 rests. Made by Royal Haeger of Dundee Illinois, this glaze is known as Black Mistique, one of the renowned volcanic glazes designed by Helmut Bruchmann. It features as Ed Blas states on page 143 of his great book The Haeger Glazes, exhilirating oranges, yellow, reds and blacks and electric blues, which flow, swirl land erupt in bright profusion on black. This pattern first appeared in 1964 and only lasted through 1965, according to Blas. According to Blas, this pattern is rare, in short supply and hard to find. It is in excellent condition and ready for your home decor. Would look fabulous on a blond wood Heywood-Wakefield or Paul McCobb table or coffeetable. Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 5159: Royal Haeger #4179 12 inch Earth Wrap vase
Click for more detail...
5159
Royal Haeger #4179 12 inch Earth Wrap vase Pictured on page 161 of the Dilley book and shown on that page in a reprint of the 1973-74 catalog, this shape is not shown in any of the other catalog pages of Earth Wrap. Whether it was a standard part of all the color paths that are EARTH WRAP I cannot say, but I have not seen it too often. It is a very big, very well-balanced piece of pottery, owning to its large and stable base. The 3 colors used are the HOT orange, pumpkin orange and yellow against the deep rich lustrous chocolate brown glaze. Made in Dundee, Illinois, it went well with the funky and retro cool late 1960s and early 1970s colors! It is in excellent condition and even retains its original silver paper label which has a Large H and then a phrase that states. "Craftsmen for a Century"

The vase stands 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide. It would look great on an Eames era perhaps Paul McCobb credenza or table. Fill with flowers, real or silk for a fun and funky retro look! Add it to your American Art Pottery collection today.
