Royal Hickman #429 Petty Crystal vase
Signed #429 and the words Royal Hickman USA 429 under the glaze, this 11 inch tall vase is simply spectacular. It is one of the largest vases I have seen by Hickman. Designed by Royal Hickman and made at this TN plant, this classically shaped bulbous and bottleneck top vase shows to full advantage the subtlties of the Petty Crystal glaze. The primary colors of this piece are rose and blue. In excellent condition, it is a great example of Mid-Century pottery.

Royal Hickman Bruce Fox RH1 aluminum leaf
Measuring 15 inches long and 11 inches wide, this huge Royal Hickman design done for Bruce Fox is signed with the RH 1 number. This huge aluminum piece was part of a line designed for Bruce Fox who sold higher end decorative accent and serving pieces. This piece still carries the original round brass Bruce Fox fox head seal which is often missing from these pieces. It is heavy as it is a cast piece of metal. It would look stunning filled with either fruit or maybe gourds around Thanksgiving to play off its leaf shape. Add it to your Mid-Century collection today. It is in original excellent condition.

Designed by Royal Hickman and made at his TN plant, this more traditionally shaped vase shows to full advantage the subtlties of the Petty Crystal glaze. The light turquoise Crystal glaze has been applied over the beige base color. It also carried the initials WL written in black pencil. In excellent condition, it is a great example of Mid-Century pottery.
