This Noritake Art Deco piece is simply stunning. It measures 9 1/2 inches wide. It features both scarce green luster and mother-of-pearl luster in the background along with the sgrafitto white speed lines. Liberal use of gold decorates the handle and the rim. Stylized blossoms and drapes are in a basket on two sides and just one draped red blossom on the other two sides. It simply is a great example of the more European influenced Art Deco designs Noritake was making during the red wreath mark period. It is in excellent shape. Use it for tea sandwiches or just hang it on the wall and admire it.
