Produced by the Cheshire CT firm of Bovano (started in 1953 by John BOnsignor, Gene VAn Leight and Warren NOden), this 9 inch wide enamel plate with a 1960s era pattern features various sizes of golden Jewels on a chocolate brown background. The Jewels cover most of the inside of the plate. The largest Jewel measures 1 1/4 inches wide. The back is done in the typical black counterenamel Bovano uses with three green felt pads and the gold circle label which reads Handcrafted by Bovano of Cheshire Conn. It is in excellent shape.
