Terry Crider started his glasswork in 1976. He is self taught. This studio glass artist has put out a limited amount of work over the past 32 years. He uses NO MOLDS and his only help has been his wife Donna who did all the threading work. I had an email from Terry and Donna stating that he doesn't think it would be fair to the collectors to make any of the same things again. They have decided now that they are making glass again they are not going to make anything that they have made in the past. He stopped blowing glass around 1990 and didn't start blowing again until 1999.

He's a great artist with VERY few early pieces out there. This great early Crider studio vase is in mint condition and is signed but undated on the base. However, stylistically, I would guess this is from the 1977-1980 period of his production based on how the white glass was pulled from the bottom of the vase and large area the white pulled loops take up on the vase.

This Crider undated pulled loops, threaded and irridized purple base glass vase is hand blown.. It has anirridized finish on a base of purple glass. It's hard to imagine the amount of work that went into this beautiful, hand made vase.

This vase stands about 5 inches high. It is a fantastic piece of contemporary collectible glass art! It is in perfect condition. Add it to your Terry Crider collection today.
