Very hard to come by. Early 1920s vintage Mandalian Gloria Bag with Bracelet frame.
I do not see any enamel loss or loosening of the tiles. Has a beautiful Lustro-Pearl finish that Mandalian was famous for. The colors are rich beige background with floral pattern in gold, black, burnt orange/red and coral.
No missing fringe. Original lining clean and completely intact.
Ornate silver bracelet frame. I believe a wire went through all the tiles of the frame, to hold its shape when open (One on the front, and one on the back side of the frame.) Appears as if the wire has broken in one place,as photographed in open picture. Does not affect how the purse closes or displays.
Purse is 8 inches long including the 1 inch fringe and the 1 inch clasp, by 5 inches wide.

Beautiful Art Deco BEADLITE Whiting and Davis enameled mesh purse with ornate frame. Excellent, near mint condition. (I see one mesh star missing it's blue enamel, otherwise perfect!). No missing or loose mesh. Great enamel work in yellow, cobalt blue, silver, red, and mauve pink. It is a wonderful purse measuring 7 by 4.5 inches. am not sure what these are called, but this is a wonderful Soldered Mesh Whiting and Davis purse with a second smaller purse with coin purse top. The coin purse is spring loaded to hold dimes.Condition is near mint.Small shallow dent on lid of coin purse. No missing or loose mesh. Wonderful fringe (one strand missing), flat rope mesh slide handle and ball and socket frame. Blue cabochon in clasp. Marked Whiting and Davis and Soldered Mesh. Large white enameled tiles with brass frame. Nice mesh handle as well. Condition is good for age. One tile missing under each hinge. Orginal lining has what looks like an ink stain on the inside. I have had several Whiting and Davis sunset mesh Princess Mary envelope style purses, but none quite like this. Very large size-9.5 by 6 inches. Rich gold, bronze and silver mesh. Gold frame marked both with the WHITING AND DAVIS CO MESH BAGS stamp and PRINCESS MARY. Condition good, but not perfect. Some fringe missing. Few rings of mesh had to be reattached below the frame. No visible when displayed. And I do not think the rope mesh handle is original. It is very long. 17 inches. So purse is worn as a shoulder bag. I can see that the rings holding the strap to the purse frame are not original. Still a very nice and unusual Whiting and Davis bag, being offered with no reserve. Shipping $6.00

This is a great purse. It is that wonderful flat snake skin mesh, in a very Arts and Crafts stylized floral design. Bright metallic gold background with silver and white florals. Brown enamel on frame matches stems on purse. Condition excellent . Minimal enamel loss. I see 3 tiles that have just tiny flecks of silver missing. Very hard to see. No missing or loose mesh. (Part of stone has broken off the clasp of the larger purse, so it does not proturd as much. Tassel on end of smaller and complete fringe on the end of the larger.
