Rare mid 1800s Victorian hat with braided horse hair decorative trim. Hat is in good to very good condition for age. 2 areas where covered wire that helps hold hat's shape are exposed, and ribbon tie has shredded at point where it ties under chin, but the hat fabric, lining and horse hair trim are all strong and intact.(I believe the ribbon tie is original, as it is part of a decorative bow on the back of the hat. Measures 9 by 6 inches, which dates it earlier in the 19th century. Buyer to pay shipping and ins. $6.00
