Beautiful hand painted Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau hand painted Limoge candle holders.
Hand painted Arts and Crafts stylized rose against a gold leaf background on both the front and back bottom of the holders with gold leaf paint also on the tops of the holders, where the candles go.
7 1/4 inches high, base 4 1/2 inches in diamter, and top 2 inches in diameter. The opening for the candle is 1 inch in diameter.
Condition is excellent. One of the pair has 3 strips of irregularity on the bottom, which are approx. 1/2 inch in length. It looks as if it were done during manufacturing, as the glaze is over it.

The glaze on the outside of the candle holder is a matte pearl white, and the inside is a shiny porcelain white.
These are very nice.
