Circa: cir 1910
Beautiful vintage Edwardian eyelet lace Tea or Day Dress in a larger, more wearable size than many found today. Condition remains very good for age. Fabric is clean, bright and sturdy. Only noted problems are small pencil point size hole at left bust area, and a 1 by 1/2 inch hole in the skirt. Both photographed. I don't think either detract too much from appearance, as a white slip would most likely be worn under dress. (There also is a 3 inch hem, so fabric from there could be used for repair, but I would not do anything.
Great detailing with asymetrical overlay layers at bodice and skirt. Fastens in back with Hook and Eyes. All present.
Shown on a size 8 dress form, and fits it very well. Easy to fasten hooks. Bust has loose fit. Dress measures 35-36 at bust, 25.5 at natural waist, and hips flow out to way over 40 inches. 18-19 inches across the shoulders. Total length 58 inches, and natural waist to hem is 43 inches.
No reserve. US shipping $8.00. Overseas 18.00
