1970 - Disaster in a French Dance Hall=3 full pages of black and white which comprise a gruesome story. 144 young people died in Frances' worst fire in 73 years. All w4re trapped in a burning dance hall. Most of the doors were carefully padlocked by the management to keep out gate crashers who might try to avoid paying the $2.00 admission. Fewer than 20 people were able to escape. Nine of the deaths were burned so badly they could not be identified.
