This boopie dessert/sherbet glass was made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Company from 1940 thru 1965.
The Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation came into existence on December 31,1937, when the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation and its subsidiaries and the Hocking Glass Company merged. Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation continued to expand into other areas of production such as tableware, toiletries and cosmetic containers. It continues today to operate 20 plants and is the worlds largest maker of glass tableware.
From the Bubble line they are also known as Berwick, and Inspiration and go very well with the Candlewick pattern by Imperial Glass Company and it is said it was an attempt by Anchor Hocking to copy the Imperial Glass pattern.
With fluted bases ending in solid round glass beads.
In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites and measures 3 1/2 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches across the rim and 2 1/8 inches across the base.
