This is a nice clean 3/4" wide x 10" long socket beveled chisel that has maker's stamp on it reads "MADE IN U.S.A." the way it is marked is often the same as on many of the Stanley chisels of this type. It has some minor stains and pitting on the steel, no damage or wear near the cutting edge, nicely sharpened and polished. This is a good quality steel chisel, that has a very good sharp cutting edge ready to use, very clean, no rust a nice bare metal finish. The steel alone is 5.5" long. The hardwood handle is very solid, fits good. Plenty of use left in this nice clean, sharp, ready to use, quality made firmer chisel!
