This is my most prized snuff bottle. I saw one in and antique store 12 years ago selling for almost twice my asking price. It has the old carved cinnabar with nicly carve thick metal inlay (looks like pewter). It does not have a spoon and the lid has a small ship. It is the original lid which does not have a slot for a spoon. The piece is signed on the bottom and is difficult to make out. The snuff bottle measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 2 inches wide and almost an inch thick. Today, snuff bottles (antique and contemporary) are highly prized and collected worldwide, and their values continue to rise steadily. This snuff bottle would make a great addition to anyones collection.
