Rare Bakelite Figural Brooch Woman With A Gold Earring
Rare Bakelite Figural Brooch Woman with a Gold Earring and Two Hanging Bakelite Bowls Found at an estate sale a year or so ago. Since that time I have been researching and looking for this item. I have only seen one other similar to this but it has since been sold. This piece is very rare, and in very good condition. This Bakelite piece is a carved African (Assuming) or Jamaican woman with head wrap and one brass earring. There are two bowls that hang from separate brass chains and rings. The womans' head is marbled black with brown/caramel swirls. The back portion has a little green as well as light brown to gold . The larger flatter bowl is comprised of a dark, dark brown with a slight etching of light brown. The is my favorite of the two, it consists of light carmel with a Beautiful Carnelian color and a blend of color from the main piece. The piece has a working c clasp. The tip of the pin extends past the edge of the clasp. The womans head is 2 long and 1 1/4 wide. The flat dish is 1 in diameter. The small bowl is 3/4 in diameter. The entire brooch is 3 3/4 long when hanging. If you should have any questions concerning this piece, do not hesitate to ask. Simply contact me through my main link.
This is a vintage bangle bracelet made of butterscotch bakelite. The bracelet is not marked but has been tested. The bracelet has four carved flowers and large X's along the outside. The bracelet measures 2-1/2 inches across the center of the opening. It is 1/2 of an inch wide. The bracelet is in good condition but may need cleaning or polishing. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by.
A vintage piece thats not been used. This will pierce cans(Wow, I remember when...)pop tops, and I think it will even open paint cans. The other things this is capable of doing is a mystery to me. Beautiful caramel bakelight.

12 Celluloid Toy Set Vintage 1930s Old Plastic Antique
12 Celluloid Toy Set Vintage 1930s Old Plastic Antique. Celluloid Party Favor Nut Cup Baskets Set of 12 Vintage in Box. These little cuties are from the 1920s or 1930s. Basket measures about 2.5 inches diameter, is about 1 inch high, and about 2.25 inches to the top of handle. There are twelve baskets, but one handle has the hook end broken off, so 11 are usable with handles, or 12 could be used without handles. They are the customary creamy color with pink upper .25 inch edges. These are really unique. I could not find them in books. If you collect celluloid, you need these. They would make cute little Easter basket party favors. Great addition to a vintage Plastics collection. NOTE: This product is a collectible item not intended for use by children under age 12. This very substantial, showy, Silent Butler measures 7 5/8 x 5 1/4 and has a 5 1/4 handle. The handle and 1/4 thick cover are made from Bakelite that has aged into a rich, deep, butterscotch color that beautifully matches the golden bronze finish on the metal parts. It has a distinctly Deco design, and looks like it dates from the 40's or 50's. It's in excellent condition and the impressive lid is perfect.
