Beautiful Art Deco sterling necklace is highlighted with marcasites on pendant and side holders - all there. Pendant in setting measures 1 5/8, stone 1 3/8 and stamped sterling. Chain is 14 inches with with spring clasp - probably sterling with missing jump ring. Yes, I can substitute an appropriate 21 or 22 inch chain of sterling-for $20 extra. Or I can give you an extender.
Beautiful example of Art Deco jewelry made in Germany before WWII. Links are set with marcasites (none missing) and it measures 6 1/2 inches with a box clasp and safety latch over a knob. The center piece is curved and 1 1/2 inches, set with openback sapphire blue stones or glass, surrounded by many marcasites of graded sizes. Very well made and in excellent condition, marked sterling, Germany.
28 inches of beautiful glass beads! Unusual too, with the 3 big blue beads, the cone shaped clear ones with blue discs, all faceted and clear of dings. This appears to have been recently restrung on blue cord. Very pretty.
Beautiful oval carnelian in the center of this Art Deco necklace is 1 1/4 inches long and over 1/2 inch wide and set in sterling. The fine paper clip chain is sterling also and the clasp is marked too. 17 1/2 inches to go around neck so it hangs nicely below the collarbone. Oh, and did I mention the sterling medallions with marcasites - nice. Necklace is for real from the 20's.
Oh, yes, they added marcasites to the sterling and carnelian to finish this original 1920's Art Deco necklace. Stamped sterling on pendant, it measure 15 inches plus 2 inch drop. The carnelian of the drop is an amazingly rich reddish brown. Sterling paper clip chain is original with a sterling spring clasp. It would be easy to make this longer and I would include it in the price - replace with appropriate antique chain or add an extender - length your choice.
Sweet bar pin is stamped sterling bar which looks like everything but the stick pin - even the C clasp looks sterling. It is 2 3/8 inches long with rhinestones that sparkle yet after all these years. Very good condition.
I have never seen on like this - a pair of twin etchings on a 20's pendant that gives it a shadowbox effect. And it has not been dropped or dinged. 1 1/2 x 1 inch with pretty bail finished on both sides. Fine 19 inch chain is not original but a nice match to bail. Spring clasp. Excellent antique condition.
Wow - it sure looks like it should be a duet and my theory is that the designer made this a duo - either split into duet or make it all one. Either way, you get a big pin - 3 1/2 x 1 3/4. It is rhodium plated with safety clasp and the stones are great. All baguettes in excellent condition and only a few small round ones aged a bit. There are piercings too, so don't be fooled into thinking they are bad rhinestones. Not marked but I guess Coro or Trifari.
This petite pendant is 1 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inches wide but very showy with blue and green flowers in fine enamel and an openback faceted amethyst. And the chain - dainty filigree for 2 inches and then a fine decorative chain for a total of 16 inches with a box clasp. Silver but not marked sterling so I am guessing rhodium.
Soft beautiful rose quartz is carved into round beads, capped with crystal, has a 1 1/4 pendant. Then this beautiful necklace is mounted on ornate sterling chain. Necklace is 17 inches and drop is 2 1/2. Sterling spring clasp is marked. Wire used on beads is probably not sterling.
I don't think this blue stone is lapis but what do I know? I like the rusty colored mark in the center. It's in a beautiful marked sterling setting with about 40-50 shiny marcasites - all there. 2 inches long with stone measuring 3/4 x 5/8. Safety clasp, excellent condition.
This Deco pin is beautifully designed and signed 935 which means it is probably European - French?, German? Measure 2 x 1 inch w faceted prongset amethyst glass? of 1 1 /4 inch long. Openback in suspended setting and clever old clasp. See closeup.
There is more than just the pretty green glass and royal blue enamel to this little pin - it appears to be silver and has silver painted black glass marcasites. Measures 1 3/4 x 5/8 with a C clasp. Considered in pricing are the tiny dings in glass and black stones that have lost silver (only noticeable upon very careful examination with loupe). Cute.
Clasp is signed Simmons with a star on this sweet 6 1/2 inch link bracelet with 5 bezelset, openback red glass stones. Matching dainty screwback earrings are a little smaller and maybe a bit pinker but not noticably different. Earrings have prongs with bezels for safety? Excellent condition.
Pretty fancy - the bail on this pendant with the inset rhinestones, and 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 inch blue glass pendant is great with no dings or chips. 16 inch chain with spring clasp is not original but has the appropriate antique finish.
Ellegant faceted topaz stones have open backs and are separated by pretty goldfilled patterned medallions. It measures 16 inches so it rest below the collarbone. Excellent condition - no chips or dings with spring clasp. Czech?
Sterling and marcasite earring dangle from sterling posts - total length: 1 3/4. I believe these have been made since the 1920's but they probably are not recent reproductions - too nice. If you are looking for something to wear with other marcasite jewelry - who cares when they were made? 3rd image show back, stamped 925. Good price too.
Either this is from the 20's or a very old reproduction - definitely not of the last few years and high quality. Stamped something that may be 925 or STF (sterling, France? - looks French), it is heavy sterling with all of the tiny marcasites intact. Don't know if black is glass or onyx but it is in perfect condition too. Those are cutout triangles in the center as are curved sides. Measure 1 7/8 x 1 3/8 - excellent condition. Some faint marks may be the artist.
Maybe a reproduction but surely not recently - they are too well made. Marked sterling with posts, they drop 1 1/4 inch. Black onyx could be glass but it looks great and shows no damage. Great price for earrings to wear with your you necklace. Excellent condition.
This is Art Deco before its time if the back - it has a trombone clasp. It's made of a silver metal though not sterling and has some kind of poured? coating over the top so I can't tell what the black and butterscotch are. The coating covers the rhinestone sparkles too so they are in good condition. Overall, very good condition. 3 inches long. I would love it if you could tell me more.
For the Deco lover, an oval pin with a huge red cabachon opaque glass stone, framed in brass and black enamel - simple and striking. Measure 1 1/4 x 1 inch and glass is perfect. Back has a repaired C clasp and this is considered in pricing. Earrings #9320 match this pin - almost. Check it out.
This little darling manages to be dainty and showy at the same time. There is a lot of pizazz packed into an inch and a half of silver filigree, prongset faceted carnelian, and etched topaz with a sparkle implanted in the middle. Silver is not marked but has a nice patina and all glass is in excellent condition. C clasp.
Oh so dainty Art Deco necklace with fine dark blue tube beads and light blue cone-shaped beads highlighted with rhinestones and brass discs. 16 1/2 inches plus 2 3/4 inch drop. Excellent condition. For sure has Czech beads.
Cute little bar pin is a double bow with textured blue enamel on sterling and highlighted with rhinestones. 2 1/2 inches long with an old-fashioned reverse safety pin which is trickly. I wouldn't try to put it on while wearing blouse or jacket. Works as a clasp too. Pin itself is in excellent condition. Beautiful.
This red glass necklace is quite unusual with short tube beads (1/4 inch)linked to make 30 inches to hold a large (over an inch) pendant of red glass. Excellent condition with spring clasp. Wouldn't be hard to find earrings to wear with this one! Looks like Czech beads to me.
Fine sterling filigree makes this pendant a beautiful example of Art Deco. It measure 1 4 3/4 x 1 inch and is centered with a cut crystal stone, open-backed. The 2 little ruby red jewels are cut into triangles and bezel set. Bail is also marked sterling but no chain. Considered in pricing.
So very Deco is this necklace of deep red glass discs highlights with silver and hanging 17 inches from red and silver lined beads. Round clasp with v spring - it all looks Czech to me. Very good condition - no chips.
From the 20's or 30's these real carnelian beads have amazing rings centered with round beads - it must be difficult to cut rocks into rings. Great variations in the beads and like new condition. Barrel clasp, 18 inches for a perfect drape. Czech?
The carmel glass looks good enough to eat in this filgree necklase. It measures 15 1/2 inches so would fall on the collarbone. With a spring clasp it would be easy to lengthen it with an extender. Glass square on right (as you face it) has a small chip in the corner and last filigree on right looks like it may have been repaired where it connects to chain. Neither flaw is going to be noticed without close scrutiny. Condition considered in pricing. Czech?
Very Art Deco, this bracelet is made up of jade and black glass, oval and rectagular. Even the box clasp is covered with a green cabuchon. Either made for a small wrist of had links removed - only 6 inches long. Unmarked sterling? Excellent condition.
This classic Deco pin is definitely not a reproduction. It is marked Sterling-Germany and has an old style safety clasp - a little arm that clips into an extended C clasp. The green opaque stone may be chrysoprase, or maybe chalcedony. A couple of marcasite have been replaced and it is in excellent condition. 1 1/2 inches by 1/2.
A perfect 15 inches makes this necklace of Carnelian glass set in gold finished brass fall right at the collar bone. It is in excellent condition and the half rectangular glass piece above the round ones have not been damaged - as sometimes happens. I think those pieces which are slightly lighter (probably because they are not as thick) are Czech made but I don't know about the entire necklace - no marks.
Very colorful Art Deco defines this pin. It's 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches and the green, yellow and robin's egg blue enamel is in excellent condition as is the red celluloid center. Brass base is backed with a C clasp. Looks Czech, doesn't it?
A black and yellow molded glass and bead bracelet with 3 prongset stones in silver. 2 decorative silver pieces fan out from the clasp. Ah, the clasp - it is unique! Stamped Fischer Pat Snap, it really is a snap measuring 1/4 inch in diameter with a pretty embossed top. Unsnapped, bracelet measures 6 1/2 inches. Excellent condition. Czech?
Antique necklace of sterling with marcasites is set with a beautiful and unusually large oval carnelian stone (1 1/4 x 7/8 inches). Pendant with stone is 2 inches long and 1 1/4 across. Beautifully decorative pieces holding pendant curve slightly and add nearly 1 1/2 inches to the 6 inch chain on each side. Thus total length equals 15 inches which means it hangs perfectly just below the collarbone. Excellent condition. I have replaced the inexpensive clasp with a sterling spring clasp for security's sake.
Egyptian Revival shows up in this pair of Pharoh heads which started life as a belt buckle but is now featured on a black velveteen choker necklace. To nice to wear at the waist, I have added the inch wide ribbon which measures about 14 inches - just right for the average neck. However, there is plenty of ribbon overlap with a snap closing so there is room for adjustment. Brass piece is 2 1/2 inches long and a bit over l inch wide.
A very Deco looking necklace of pink pearls and purple rhinestone rondelles. A fine silver chain spaces the pearls to make a 16 1/2 necklace with an additional 2 inches of pink and purple drop. This little cutie is in excellent condition.
Funky Art Deco pin of pot metal and rhinestones. Black bar at bottom seems to be painted wood. All rhinestones present and no sign of aging. C clasp. Very good antique. condition. No, not made by Tiffany!
