This dates to the late 1800s to early 1900s, unsigned, lovely little oil painting. Very thick old cardboard, originally had a Victorian frame which appeared original, but it fell apart and I now just am selling this unframed, as found, could use cleaning, approx. 17.5 by 12.5 . Sold as is and priced accordingly.

Approx 5 3/4 by 7 3/4 framed dried flower arrangement circa 1920-30s, the faint words Dried Flowers of Alaska can be seen near the top and on the back, the artist and flower ID is given. The artist was Ruth Miller Staats of Valdez, Alaska. The original backing is still intact. On the back, some of the flora is ID'd as follows: Grass Columbine White Anemone Old Man's Whiskers Horse Tail Rush Salmon Berry Alaska Cotton Yellow Anemone Hare Bell Forget-Me-Not Background of Birch bark This is sold as found, some wear as would be expected but in good vintage condition, from my own collection, purchased from an estate about 20 yrs ago. In the style of the Gibson girls, this signed painting by Ida Bloomstine has been in my private collection for many years. I couldn't find anything on this artist and welcome any information offered if available. The little semi miniature painting or drawing appears to be an oil painting and to date to the early 1900s. The woman is in flowery Victorian or Edwardian style clothes and has a lovely Gibson girl style hat. It is in its original oval wooden frame and has glass intact. No matting, some expected aging and wear to the background but nothing that couldn't be remedied if desired. The oval frame is about 11.5 by 9.5 . I am selling this AS FOUND...it really could use reframing and possibly a nice mat job. I am leaving that to whoever buys it. It is in overall good vintage condition and is priced accordingly. This is an Old World print of The Ponte Santa Trinita Bridge in Florence Italy. The frame is wooden with silver and brown paint. There is a seal on the back that says: A Decorative Craft, Hand Made in Italy, Florentia and it is stamped with the number 1876. The picture is in good condition but has a stain on the left hand side along the frame. The glass and frame are fine with just a bit of wear to the frame. The paper on the back of the frame is torn.

This painting is by Corporal Henry C. Cassell, Jr., USMC. It is titled Christmas In Con Thien (Hill of Angels). It is framed and matted but at some point the matting got water stained at the bottom. Reverse painted convex bubble glass silhouette pictures of a fashionable couple out for a romantic walk. The scene is a printed lithograph, with handpainted embellishment o the glass. The frame is a gold and copper colored stripe and shows minimal wear. There are self-attached copper hangers on the cardboard backs. One picture has a bit of damage from the hanger pushing through the front; not too much though. Price has been adjusted accordingly. Pictures measure 6 x 8 and are being sold as a pair. I've had this for over 20 years. I first bought the hand painted paper and carved ivory or bone handled fan from a prominent estate in Atlanta, then I spent about $500 or more to have it professionally framed shadowbox style in which is was hand sewn onto a silk backing. Museum quality. Fan dates to the early 1800s to 1840s, artist signed. Reverse of fan is painted too, but the predominant scene is what is showing. Entire piece is about 28 by 21 . Absolutely superb. Serious inquiries only. I have one other amazing fan in mother of pearl, also framed in this manner, not yet listed. I'm downsizing or I would never consider selling. Apprx 22 1/4 by 35 , depicted is a vibrantly hued art nouveau 1898 Alfonse Mucha woman with a bear rug and head by her. It's entitled La Dame l'ours and was printed by Athena reproductions in England around the late 1960s-early 1970s. Very good condition, minimal edge wear, bright graphics, amazing colors, high quality.

Approximately 35 by 14 1967 Alphonse Mucha art nouveau inspired poster, authentic hippy hippie era vintage, small thumb tac marks on the edges, serving to validate its age. Signed MASTERS OF THE MASTERS IN LIMITED EDITIONS and 1967 SANDYVAL GRAPHICS LTD. NEW YORK. At the top is MOET with an incredibly lovely bejeweled 1890s woman holding a goblet or wine glass. Near the bottom: GRAND CREMONT IMPERIAL It's in very good condition with expected darkening from what was probably a bright white background to a slightly tanned background. These are all from Playboy magazine. All are magazine paper as would be expected, good condition. Some have a little fraying on the edges, but all are suitable to frame or use in some sort of collective effort. Backside of prints are typical Playboy magazine content...ads, playmate nude photo spreads, articles, etc. The last photo shows one print that is actually a Don Lewis playmate Playboy bunny print, all the other 12 are Vargas. 1978 print of the Norman Rockwell Saturday Evening Post cover Home Duty . Home Duty was Rockwell's first Post cover. 323 more would follow, an average of nearly seven a year for the Post in an association which would last for the next forty-seven years. This unframed mint condition print measures 11 3/8 tall by 8 1/2 wide.

I purchased this myself when I was a kid when it was new at the store. Introduction by Maurice Sendak. Entitled Maxfield Parrish Poster Book. Publisher: New York Harmony Books 1974 ISBN Number: 0517514028 Paperback, some shelf wear with some prints coming detached from binding. This is a natural part of the aging and the binding's glue drying up. All prints are present except one (page 21 is missing). All are suitable for framing and in good condition, free of damage or fading and from a smoke free home. Twenty one prints in all. Includes Parrish chronology.

From a local estate collection comes this incredible ORIGINAL charcoal drawing or painting by Freda Reiter. It's professionally framed and nicely double matted and signed by the listed and quite famous artist from 1966. The actual artwork measures about 21 3/4 by 13 7/8 , and it's framed in a 26 1/2 by 19 frame. Entitled KOREAN GIRL , on the back is an article dated 1972 and a small cutout that says the piece appraised for $1500 over 30 years ago. I've been told by reliable authorities on Ms. Reiter that this piece would be worth $2500 to $5000 or more in the current market. FREDA REITER Freda Leibovitz Reiter was born in 1919 and died in 1986. She was originally from Philadelphia, PA, and at a very early age, her artisitc ability was quite evident. She had a reputation as a fine artist from very early on. Freda had an identical twin sister, Ida, who was also an artist. During World War II, she went to Mexico City, where she studied under Diego Rivera. When she returned, Freda began drawing posters and sketching portraits of soldiers for the USO. Also that year, in 1943, Freda met her future husband, Frank Reiter, a dentist from New Jersey. Frank and Frieda married and had three children, and Frieda continued to carry her watercolors and sketchpad while travelling. She drew landmarks and people, and also watched TV, using her photographic memory to sketch what she saw. In the 1960s, Ms. Reiter wanted to become a TV sketch artist. so she went to New York and was hired to work in the graphics department at ABC-TV. She went on to become one of the most noted courtroom artists of all time, being known for her work on the Watergate trial, to name one of many of her noted assignments. After several years of battling her cancer, Freda Reiter succumbed to cancer in 1986. Her art continues to be appreciated the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery as well as in private collections. I believe this piece is an important work by Freda Reiter as it was done during the period preceding her work at ABC. After 1966, she focused primarily on Courtroom sketches, so this may have been from one of her last trips she was able to make before that job. In excellent condition, the piece is free of damage or repair and is ready to display. The frame shows some wear from the years but can easily be replaced or touched up if desired. If you like original artwork and the incredible art of Freda Reiter, this is a piece not to be missed!

Painting apprx 6 by 4 in a 8 by 9 1/2 plaster and wood frame. While frame has some damage to the plaster, the painting is in very good condition. Lovely! Depicted is a man smoking a pipe and wearing an interesting feathered hat. His mustache and costume reminds me of the Three Muskateers. From my own collection, this dates to the mid to late 1800s. Good condition.

Charley Harper, considered to be a master of Mid-Century Modernism, lived from 1922 to 2007. Todd Oldham considered Harper to be a great undersung artist, one of the top 10 Mid-Century designers . Charley Harper handmade his original silkscreen prints, showing his unique style and humor. I purchased these from the original owner nearly 20 years ago. Though I had bought them initially to sell, I fell in love with them and hung them up in my shop, marking them SOLD...to ME! They appear to be in their original stained wood frames and while the frames have some wear on them, the prints appear to be in very good condition. These are from his fresh and saltwater fish collection. They date to the 1950s. Framed and matted, they measure about 23 by 19 each. The silk screen prints, not including the matting, are about 13 by 9 each. Each one of these are signed by Charley Harper C. Harper . I kept these because I loved them and knew that they were special. I had no idea that they were by Charley Harper or that they had monetary value. I am only selling them because I am downsizing and in school. The fish on the left is a Crappie. I am unsure of the other one and welcome any information you may care to share on these. Charley Harper was a very special artist who will be remembered for his great talent, his whimisical nature, and for being a genuinely special individual from every account I could find.

Bernard Sokoloff Art Glass Bowl - This 1970 hand made glass bowl was made by Bernard Sokoloff a famous artist - Measures 11 inch diameter x 2 ½ inches tall - Has a wavy body with streaks of black and white - His signature is etched on the back of the bowl along with the date

George Briard Forbidden Fruit Dish - This 1940-1950's bent glass dish has round gold designs and is 9 ½ inch square and is signed in gold by George Briard a well known designer and artist from the past

Nice mother with baby print signed J. Knowles Hare. It was the top to a calendar. Measures 11 3/4 inches by 9 inches. Condition is very good with a small piece missing at the top right edge.

From Parrots in Captivity by William Thomas Greene and F. G. Dutton. This is an original lithograph finished by hand coloring. Greene's Parrots in Captivity consisted of 81 beautiful plates printed from woodblocks by Fawcett. These are said to be the finest illustrated work of parrots of the 19th century. This measures about 6 1/2 inches by 9 3/4 inches. Condition is very good with a few very light spots of foxing at the top left and some darkening at the very bottom, underneath the wording.
