Here is an intriguing art medium and one that I am not familiar with ~ A sculptured porcelain scene of a Mother bear and her young bear. The young bear appears to be robbing a honey bee hive from inside a hollow tree, while his Mother looks on. There are so many studies of nature in this piece; a bird's nest with two eggs, a mouse inside the hollow at the bottom of the tree and another mouse near a fallen branch and some rocks. The sculpture is quite heavy, weighing in at 4.4 pounds. The sculpture is mounted on a piece of wood. The sculpture is signed and dated 1990. Measurements are 8 1/2 H X 8 1/4 W. Condition is excellent.
