A New Year and Changes Abound!
This is the sixteenth issue of Button Bytes Light, and will signal the end of it being edited by Cecile T. Kohrs. This has been a very rewarding endeavor over the past year, but it's time to pass the torch to the next crew. I'll be around, so please feel free to continue your feedback! Thanks to Jeff Wright, who has done a yeoman's job doing the technical work that has made this site attractive and navigable.

In the ARTICLES section, you can see what WHISTLE buttons look like, and what they are made of. Lots of pictures here.

There is a CHAT with studio button artist Mary C. Dyer thanks to Mary J. Whitaker, and there's even a piece on planning for Christmas with Pam Vasilow's super Advent Calendar.

Dictionary
Please note that the ever-growing DICTIONARY section needs help! We've got a few new definitions up this month, but we need more. Please send us any definitions, or any words you want to see defined! Or post definitions to the Button Bytes list for everyone to discuss before it goes up.

People Profiles
Look in the PEOPLE section to meet fellow collectors. Don't forget to look for the PROFILE FORM for you to fill out and tell us about yourself. Details matter, so please, take time to share some information so other people really get to know you! If you've sent a profile in, and haven't seen it yet, don't despair! We're trying to get three up every issue, so we're getting there! Also, please note the questions that people are trying to learn about in the profiles. If you can answer, send in comments that can help!

Rumage Around Our Basement
Don't forget to check out our ARCHIVES, where we're keeping the PEOPLE and ARTICLES sections from past issues.
