These are fairly massive pieces of pewter made by Sergei Nekrassoff. The punch bowl is fabulous and measures just shy of 13 in diameter, and is 5 high. Hand hammered on all sides, this has his classic 4 ball with leaf design on the 4 openwork handles. The ladle is outstanding all on its own - measuring over 14 long, this has the matching design work on the handle. The underplate is also hand hammered and has his classic 4 ball with leaf design on the 4 openwork handles. This measures 16 in diameter, and the height is just over 2 . Circa 1930. The punch bowl has been used, and shows some interior discoloration and some minor scratches. The ladle has several very light rings (not pitting) where liquid remained. The underplate has been used, and shows some interior discoloration, minor scratches and minor bending. There is one strong crimp in the pewter flowing out of one of the open work designs. Pewter is one of the softer metals, and the bowl shows some wear because of being slightly out of round. Although obviously used, these pieces are still in very nice condition. Their size alone makes them a true collecting prize! (#T-1607) Key Words: Art Nouveau, Liberty of London, Jugendstil, Secessionist
