Circa 1875 cheese and cracker 2 tier dish. It is circa 1875 to 1880 The Aesthetic Movement or 1890s to 1920s Arts And Crafts Era, I am not sure. Matte finish with apple blossoms on moss green with gold accents, some of the gold is worn off. It is marked wither N or Z. a beautiful piece and very unusual. The bottom is 9 inches diameter with the top being 4 ½ inches diameter, perfect condition. L221x21. (s15)
Wheatley Pottery of Cincinnati, Ohio was the maker of this deeply carved tile. Measuring 6 square x ¾ thick, this has a background color of muted gray, and recessed colors of salmon, pale mint green, and teal blue. All matte glazes. Dating from ca 1915, this is marked WP on the reverse, and has two sets of numbers. #1097 is the catalog number. Although de-installed, this is in truly excellent condition. The glaze is hand applied, and does not flow into every crevice, adding to its true uniqueness. There are two Key words: art tiles antique vintage Arts & Crafts Movement
