Gorgeous vintage Mele brass and onyx vanity box. It is for jewelry, trinkets, rollex, etc. Older item; has foil label on the bottom: Mele, Made in Japan; darkened patina on the metal. I believe the surround is onyx; it is a very heavy box for its size. Green velvet lined. It is 3 inches tall x 5 wide x 3.5 deep. It is a beautiful box, no flaws. Perfect for a special lady! Made for an impressive ring, this jewelry box measures 2 1/2 x almost 2 inches and is lined with blue velveteen. Box is substantial metal embossed with silver and there is even a spot for a monogram. Bottom's shine silver coat is stamped Japan. Does that mean it was made before WW II?

Yes, Norway and more specifically, Victor Carlsen, Gullsmed, Haraldsgt. 162- Telefon 1451, Haugesund. I found it on a map too on the coast. What was in the little 2 1/2 1 3/4 I do not know. I would guess it was a gift brought back from the Old Country since I found it in Minnesota, home of many Norwegians.

This little ring box measures 1 1/2 square and looks really old. Brown fuss shows wear and ivory inside shows some soiling where ring would be taken in and out. Henry Birks & Son Limited might indicate that it came from England. Push button latch works well.

Medium blue plastic ring box with ivory trim is in excellent condition from the Crescent Jewelry Co. in Fargo N.D. but bottom is stamped Warner J.C. Co. Buffalo, NY and Pat.Appl'd For. Excellent condition inside and out.

The Pommer Company, Inc, Manufacturing Jewelers, Minneapolis takes credit for this sweet little ring box but I know nothing about the contents. Bottom stamped Made in USA. 1 1/2 inches square.

Rare stick pin box is probably from the end of the 19th century or early 20th. I am only guessing at it's use but what else? Pinkish red synthetic leatherite case is embossed with gold, and has a knob for opening. A little wear on case and inside black velvet - not bad for 100 years (or more) old. 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches.

About 3 x 2 inches, this rectangular ring box was probably meant for 2 rings. It's Genuine Keepsake Registered. Lid signed Savloainen & Co. Inc. Duluth Minn. Aqua padding shows a little soil - it was used. Few tiny marks and smudges on outside.

Tiny gold tone metal ring box. Nice condition but for missing the silk puffy lining that would have originally been inside. You can put one in easily enough. Gorgeous crystal powder box. It is an estate sale item and had bath powder with a sifter in it when purchased. The sifter will come with it. Lovely Victorian footed box. Small and very ornate. It stands 2.25 tall x 2.75 wide. Used for rings, cufflinks, rosaries back in the 1800's. It has the original satin lining but the lining has a tear and is aged; but most of these do not even have their original satin linings in them. Raised numbers on bottom: 1340. These small ones are hard to find. A very pretty item for your vanity table! 2/12brcs

Ceramic Handled Flower Basket, Elizabeth Arden, Made in Japan. This unique flower basket is 7 long, 4 12/ to top of handle, and 4 wide. It was made in Japan exclusively for Elizabeth Arden. The basket features blue and yellow flowers throughout the front, the back and the handle. They are embossed in a pretty woven detail. This basket can have many uses; i.e., jewelry dish, potpourri, etc. It is in excellent condition with the Made in Japan Exclusively for Elizabeth Arden mark.

Pyrography Burnt Wood Glove Box Poinsettia Flemish Art Very nice glove box with wood grain, Poinsettia Blossoms on each side of lid and the word Gloves burnt into the wood. Measures 10 1/4 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide X 2 inches high. I'm uncertain of age, it has either been stored away and kept fairly clean, or is a more recent version. Brass nailed on hinges are unmarked. There is fading and some light scratches & minor soil spots on one end of lid top. A few light scratches to outer sides, nothing major. No wood chips or hinge damage. There a partial very fine hairline crack in the lid, probably from dryness of wood. It does not extend the entire length of the lid and does not appear to be a serious problem to usage or display. Lid has pattern on both side, although there is no red color on the Poinsettia on the inside. It is a lovely old dresser piece or would make a beautiful Christmas Decorative.
