This compact hangs from a ring and is ready for make-up repairs at a minutes notice - but it wasn't used - the foiled rouge is barely open and there is hardly a swipe on the pad. Hardly much on powder pad either and it looks likes it had to be loaded with loose powder. Fancy case has 2 tones of silver and even the back shows no wear. Excellent, nay prime!

This vintage perfume, scent bottle is clear pressed glass. I believe from the '40's-'50's erra. Unmarked and I have been unable to verify maker. Stands 8 in. tall with the ground dauber in plac. Measures 5.5 in. long and is 2 in. wide at the base. I find no chips, nicks, cracks, etc. Appears to be of quality glass.

Vintage Stylebuilt Gold Ormolu Filgree Glass Cherub or Angel Perfume Bottle Set with Pearl accents. Stylebuilt was established in New York in 1940 and specialized in the manufacture of vanity accessories in the 1960s. Most items are of a gold tone or silver tone alloy metal. The company is still in business today and operates under the name of Stylebuilt Accessories Inc. Most Stylebuilt pieces are 24K Gold Plated and the original paper tags said that they were guaranteed not to tarnish. The estimated age of this set is from the 1940's to the 1960's. These perfumes have a pattern of flowers, crests and angels or cherubs with pearls, intricate in every detail, fantastic detail throughout the whole bottle. The sides are an open filigree, centers have the glass perfume bottle encased inside. The gold has a darker finish to it in the creases giving it a patina type look instead of a shinny finish. They are 7 3/8 inches tall, body is 5 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches across and 1 1/2 inches wide. They are in excellent condition, except there are quite a few of the pearl insets missing, this is a an easy fix by using pearls from vintage jewelry if desired, very heavy in weight as they are quality piece, marked on the bottom with Stylebuilt. This is a matching set, most often only one perfume is found. A beautiful, quality piece for your collection or to display on your dresser. Vintage Crystal Glass Perfume Cologne Bottle with Fancy Stopper. This lovely bottle is 7-1/4 tall. It may have been made by Irice but this isn't verified. It has some interior clouding that will disappear once filled. It is in excellent used condition with no chips or cracks. Shipping weight is 1.5 pounds.

Beautiful cut glass perfume is reminicent of the Czech cut glass perfumes of the '20's and 30's but the sticker on the bottom says W. Germany so it is obviously the late '40's. The pink stopper with carved flowers fits perfectly so I think it is the original. Bottle is almost 2 inches high plus 5/8 neck and stopper is 3 inches including fitted part. No dings or chips

Offering Toujours Moi (Forever Me) one of the early Corday perfumes in a 1 fl oz bottle ( the bottle is in beautiful condition for the age--bottle is great --some gold off label) tagging along is a nice .5 fl oz bottle(bottle only.) , Launched in 1924 it rested on great popularity until and after Second World War. A composer Harry Revel was so impressed by the perfume, that he devoted several musical compositions to six Corday perfumes. The collection of Harry Revel's compositions is called Perfume Set To Music. Launched in 1927 by Blanche Arvoy, Corday perfumes are more whimsical and charming than their namesake - assassin Charlotte Corday, who stabbed pro-French Revolution radical Jean-Paul Marat to death in his bathtub. (Gotta love the French.) With the vanillic sensuality of Shalimar, a hint of Tabu's amber eroticism, and a comforting whisper of smoky tobacco that recalls Habanita, Toujours Moi (Forever Me) is a must-have for lovers of perfume in the Oriental category. Jeanne Lanvin dedicated Arpège to her musician daughter, Marie-Blanche,who picked the name for the fragrance. The original 1927 formulation of Arpège is very true to its name--a musical concept of arpeggio--in a sense that individual notes are played distinctly one after another instead of simultaneously.
