Betsy McCall doll by Ideal in 1961. She is a wonderful 22 inch tall, fully jointed girl with pretty brown sleep eyes with all of her lashes. She has great coloring with reddish rooted hair still in the original set with her red hair bow. She is dressed in her original multi colored thimbles designed dress with front button trim and her red trimmed crinoline with white knit undies and wonderful, red tie shoes with the front bow trim. She has not socks and we could not find any makers marks on her. She has a swivel waist and is even jointed at her wrists and ankles. She was produced to resemble the Betsy McCall paper dolls that were found in the magazines of the times. She is a rare doll and sold just as found.
