This like new large soft cover cookbook features over 200 vegetarian recipes from all around the world. The cookbook is in like new giftable condition and has 224 pages, lots of color recipes and treats such as Spicy Sweet Potatoes, Mushroom Corstini with light tomato and Pecorino Sauce, Summer Potato Salad with Dill.. The recipes are superb for vegetarians or meatatarians.

This is a different take on Stir - Fry cooking. The sauces of Joyce Chen are used for different flavorings but you could use whatever is on hand. The smallish paperback book has 64 pages of great recipes. My favorite was the chicken with Almonds but my family liked the Zesty Shrimp with Pea Pods.

If you are a purist when it comes to cookbooks then this small version of the Better Homes and Garden's New Cookbook isn't for you. If you like the Reader's Digest version of things, then this is a fabulous cookbook. You have the highlights of the cookbook without the fluff!. The small paperback has 192 pages and 175 recipes of the best of the cookbook.

I am always at a loss for what to make for appetizers. This little book has been a real saving grace. I use mine all the time. The recipes on the front are Artichoke-parmesan phyllo bites and Cocktail Quiches. There is a honey mustard brie that I just love and a roasted garlic spread that always disappears first. The book is little - just 24 pages but one of the best I have found.

This book has over 470 pages in full color of fabulous recipes. The book originally sold for $39.99 and this one looks like new. The recipes are classics - some with a twist. There is a section on honey glazed meats that is sensational.

This paperback book contains 96 pages of recipes using Minute Rice products. Though written in 1989, the book is just as useful today. The casseroles are my favorites but don't forget to try the use of these products for salads and stuffings.

You will find recipes such as Marinated Shrimp Salad, Frozen Fresh Fruit Dessert and Maple Beans. All are very easy to prepare and downright good eating.

It has always been my contention that microwaves were for reheating and food cooked in them was basically tasteless. This cookbook changed my mind. Within its 120 pages there are great homemade tasting foods, cooked quickly in the microwave. Look for dishes such as Swiss Scalloped Corn and Easy Cherry Crisp.

The New York Times Large Type Cook Book by Jean Hewitt, Published by Golden Press New York, Copyright 1968, unstated first edition. This indexed, 446 page cookbook has nice, large, dark print and is perfect for those who have to keep their reading glasses handy when they cook, or for anyone who has messed up a recipe by mis-reading the tiny type and used the wrong measurements. The author claims the tested recipes in the book were selected from the best that have appeared in the New York Times, ranging from simple to exotic. The hardcover book has no dust jacket and some very slight edge and corner wear to the cloth cover, otherwise it's in excellent condition with no tears, writing, or stains. If you like cookbooks that are as much fun to look at as to use, then anything from the publishers of Sunset Magazine fits this . This one is circa 1973 and covers lighter eating in the salad recipe division. There are fruit, green and meat type salads perfect for hot weather eating. The large soft cover book has 96 pages.

This small paperback cookbook was originally published in 1964. This is the third edition, so it lets you know that this is a little gem of a book. The recipes are very authentic, with meals such as sweet and sour fish, braised prawns and lotus white chicken. There is a black and white picture of each dish. The booklet has 56 pages.

Tesco published this Cooking for Two cookbook as part of a series in 1985. It is just as practical today when cooking for a smaller group. The small hardback has a variety of recipes to suit most tastes. There are 64 pages with full color illustrations for all meals.

In the 1970's Time Life put out a series of cookbooks on foods around the world. Then they came up with a series of American cooking and this spiral bound softcover is one of those. Within its 144 pages it covers all types of American Cooking. From Clam Hash to Duck in Orange Sauce to Strawberry Shortcake, the recipes are here.
