    Home Baked Bread And Cakes - Norwak
    This neat cookbook hails from England and features all types of breads and cakes (with an English flair. I had to try the simple sponge cake and the Walnut Mocha Cake and found both excellent to the pallette and fairly easy to make. There are 78 pages some color pictures and terrific recipes with full instructions. This hardback book would be a nice addition to your baking collection as it contains recipes not usually found in American cookbooks.

    This neat cookbook from the editors of Sunset Magazine features all types of oriental cooking including, Chinese, Japanese, Korean. I had to try the pork stuffed mushrooms and the wonton soup and found both excellent to the pallette and fairly easy to make. There are 93 pages some black and white pictures and terrific recipes with full instructions.

The recipes in this book showcase chocolate but there are plenty of other recipes without. There are 78 pages of large print recipes.

    1930's Quantity Recipes For Quality Foods
    I am a fan of the older cookbooks, not only for the recipes but for the picture of the times as well. This is a great book for service organizations, churches or schools. There are 60 pages of recipes for large groups. There is everything from sauces, drinks, breads to main courses. I think that the book was written to showcase evaporated milk as most of the recipes have this as an ingredient.

    1940-50s Sunkist Grapefuit Recipes Cookbooklet
    I am a fan of the older cookbooks, not only for the recipes but for the pictures as well. This fun 15 page leaflet from Sunkist dates to the late 1940-early 1950 era. It gives hints on preparing grapefruit, and lots of interesting recipes. The back page has pictures of the latest juice extractors that Sunkist made.

    Smiley's Cook Book & Universal Household Guide
    1894, published by Smiley pub., the binding is original. at one time long ago the cover looks like it cam away from the spine and was re-glued, the outside covers have some wear and bumped corners, the decorated paper on inside cover is all so the 1st side of the page next is a blank page next is a full page color page with title and other info., page 47 and the color plate that came after it is missing, all the others color plates are there (7 - should be 8) little black illustrations (sketches) are throughout the book. When book is closed lying on table the pages form more of a C then straight up and down, so when using the book the 1st 30 or so pages have some wear to their edges because the extend out a little over the rest of pages until towards the end where they once again like the first start to stick out a little.
