A cute humorous book on the aging process and life at Fairacres for senior citizens. This book is in very good condition but has a personal library label and the #4 on the front end page whereas the pages and illustrations are pristine. The dust jacket has a mark on the back where a label was removed.

40 Marie Gifford 1940s Armour Meat Recipes Bulletins
40 Marie Gifford 1940s Armour Meat Recipes Bulletins. Lot of 40 two page 8.5 X 11 inch Bulletins with 3 holes, made to put into a 3 ring notebook. They originally were folded and sent in a business size envelope. These were advertsing recipes sent from Marie Gifford's Kitchen Service Bulletion, from Armour and Company of Chicago 9 Illinois. Each copy contains yummy recipes for weiners, bacon, ham, sausage, chicken, pork, lamb, beef, liver and hash. Each has some really cute comic pictures of pigs, and lots of pictures of the dishes being prepared. They show some yellowing and the original owner poked new holes in them, to keep them in a two ring binder. A little minor soil but not real damage. They begin in the 1940s and go into the early 1950s. Lots of delicious recipes, probably better than a cookbook.
