Circa: early 1900-50's
Condition: Good+
Manufacturer: C. S. Osborne
This is a nice clean, top quality hickory head hammer, with ash handle, marked "C.S. OSBORNE 90-2" on one side of the head. It is the larger of the two, and weight is 20 ounces, and is 13.25" long overall. The Osborne mallet has some wear from use, but had plenty of use left in it. The same mallet is also very clean, weight is 6 ounces, and is 10" long overall. It has no maker's name on it, but is a nice quality ash mallet. No cracks in either mallet, both in very good useable condition. Osborne is perhaps better known for leather working tools, and these mallets may have been used for leather working.
