Extremely attractive and nicely carved antique soapstone figure. I am not sure which God this is, but he is a fisherman. The God is well attired and the two fish he is holding, as well as his clothing, are nicely detailed. Both the front and back are also finely done. The figure is attached to a carved black soapstone base, which is carved to resemble tree bark. Height: 10¼".
