We love old things! Even our home is an antique. Built in 1924 (old by Florida standards), it was once surrounded by stately oaks and a huge orange grove. The groves are gone now, replaced by housing developments and a 'four-lane' close by. Tampa sure has changed! My husband and I have been in the antique business for 18 years, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Like most folks, we started by being collectors ourselves ~ over 30 years ago. As our interests grew, our collections grew, and also our knowledge. In 1991 we started selling in local antique malls and at shows. We love to travel, and soon our vacations became 'buying trips'. Ten years ago, all but one of the antique malls in Tampa started closing down. That`s when we turned to the internet! We love being a part of the TIAS family. Shoppers can spend hours here, just like at a brick & mortar mall, but your feet don`t get tired! Our family consists of two dogs and one cat ~ and they always travel with us on our buying trips. Yes, they have chewed a few antiques, but it was our fault for leaving that clock finial and that Pluto squeak toy where they could get at them! Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to make sure that everyone who makes a purchase from us is pleased with their transaction. If not, we make it right. We`re glad you dropped by to meet us!
