Very finely detailed cottonwood carving of a Shalako & a Mudhead Kachina. Signed and titled by the artist. The artist was brilliant using the natural curves and shapes of the cottonwood root to help form the body of the Shalako & Mudhead Kachina. They are full of hand etched fine line & carved details with hand painted traditional designs. Size: 9 Inches Wide x 7 Inches T x 3 Inches W at the base. Condition: Very Good. Weight: 3 oz. We are not sure which tribe this artist belongs to. Probably one in the Southwest. Age: Late 20th Century Please note that the piece is not as bright as shown in photo, due to lights needed due to the photo shoot.
