1948 - 1953 Duchess Hard Plastc 7 1/2 inch Doll Painted face, Mohair doll. Hard Plastic body and head with the composition look. No marks on the doll but she is identical to our other Duchess dolls.
She is a very cute doll. The lips still in wonderful color of bright red no rub marks, eyes painted on with a side glance. Beautiful dark Auburn mohair hair no bald spots in good shape. She is in very good condition.
Many doll companies made hard plastic dolls during the era of 1948-1960's one of which is the Duchess Doll Corporation. Some of the dolls are marked. Dolls are hard plastic, slender adult figured, 7 to 8 inches tall tall, with painted or sleep eyes, jointed arms, heads that turn, non-bendable legs, molded painted on low heeled shoes.
