Vintage hand stitched horoscope pattern depression era quilt. Signed: Harriet H. Moss, 6456 Trumbull Av., Detroit, Mich, 1934-1935. Trumbell is where the old Tiger Stadium used to be; and note the old state abbreviation: Mich vs MI. This magnificent quilt has it all! Embroidery, applique, trapunto? and is hand stitched. It is in very good condition and has already been laundered. Some faded spots on underside, but that's about it for flaws. It is 97 inches x 76.5 or full size quilt. It has all the zodiac/horoscope signs with descriptive phrases surrounding each particular sign. About 8 stiches in a one inch line, or 32 stiches in a square inch. Very unique quilt and is still very usable. It needs a loving home! You could design a whole room around this quilt! It would make a unique heirloom wedding gift!
