art5

1950's San Francisco Ca. Street Print Offered is a very nice Signed Color Print identifying the location as East of California St. at Powell which is in San Francisco, California. Print has nice detail of Cable/Trolley Cars, Buildings and the Bridge in the background. Lower right portion is signed E. Handel. I'm guessing Print is from the 1950's era and possibly the 40's. The Frame measures about 17 1/2 x 15 1/2" and the Print portion is roughly 10 1/2 x 9". The Print itself is in very good condition. The paper covering on the back just has a small water stain along the lower left corner edge. There is also a small brown sticker which says Wunderly Galleries, Pittsburgh, Pa. which I'm assuming is where this Print was originally purchased. Fantastic for anyone with interest or ties to the San Francisco Bay Area. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.

Pr Early 1st Communion Cabinet Card Photos Nice Pair of early Cabinet Card Photographs featuring 2 Young Girls celebrating the Sacrament of First Communion. Not 100% certain but I believe these Girls may be related as these photos and others were part of the same lot. Photographers were Shubart & Berninger and Vignos & Hurford both out of Canton, Ohio. Photos are probably late 1800's. Would make a nice addition to one's collection. Buyer to pay shipping & delivery confirmation.

Click for more detail...

art30

Old Prints Napoleon Bonaparte Josephine Various paper items of Napoleon and Josephine. Not certain exactly sure what to refer to these as. Appear to be Prints that could have come out of various publications from somewhere around the latter half of the 1800's. At the bottom of each Print/Illustration lists the publisher of the piece many of which are either London or New York--various names. The colored one of Napoleon on a Horse at the top says Art Supplement Chicago Chronicle Sunday Sept. 8, 1895 and lower right corner says J. Ottmann Lith. Co. N.Y. Another with Napoleon on a Horse is titled Bonaparte at St. Helena and underneath says London Published by Thomas Kelly Paternoster Row Dec. 14, 1815. All of these are in plastic folder like covers. I did not try to remove them. Original owner had the corners of the prints set into place and I know they are a little fraile so I did not bother taking them out. As you can see they have some soilage, staining, wear, etc. If you need info on a particular one or need additional photos let me know. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance will be included.

600+ 1960's Slides Beach Vacation Parties

Large collection of Old Color Projection Slides from one's family during the 1960's. There is several vacation photos taken in Nags Head, NC with beach & water scenes with family & friends. It appears that they may have went to Nags Head on somewhat of a regular basis during this decade as the Slides look to be from different years. Many of the slide containers that these are in are marked on the lid with old masking tape or paper what is each container. Besides Nag Head there is other Slides featuring destinations of travel. They went to Washington D.C. in '63 with a few photos and attended an outdoor Easter service while there. Also a few Slides from when they went to New York and Florida. Many Slides of get togethers (parties--Christmas, New Years, Picnics, Swimming) with family and friends. A few slides in a box label Grotto Parade with cars lined going down the street. Several slides of around the House both inside and out especially with their beloved Dog). Again, there is over 600 of these Slides and they have there boxes most identifying in general what's in each one. The outside edge of the Slides DO NOT identify what each one is showing. Photos taken are just a sample of what you may see throughout all of them. Slides can be shipped with or without the Boxes. Buyer to pay shipping.
