Heart with Thumbprint Condiment Tray Made by Tarentum, c. 1896. 8 ¼" l x 4 ¼"w x 3/8"h. Moderately worn gold extending on inside and outside of rim. There is a tight hairline extending from and through the rim and down into the tray for about ¾". Did I see this when I bought it – duh! Scallops and points are in excellent condition. There are minor wear marks in several places where the bottom touched the table. (6229)

Delaware Pin Tray Made by US Glass, c. 1899. 8 1/2" l x 3 3/4"w. at center. Clear glass. All of the tiny edge beads are intact. On the rounded long outside edge the center of that edge has a 1/16" nick in which you can catch your fingernail. (5035)

Sandwich Flint Beehive Plate Made by Sandwich, c. 1840. 9 ¾" d. The scallops on this octagonal dish are in amazingly fine condition, with just 2 underside chips, one of those on a corner. The central panel features 6 beehives, thistles and stars. On the border, bees alternate between acanthus leaves and scrolls. Very fine stippling. Perfect base rim. (6213)

Actress Pinafore Platter Made by Adams & Co., c.1880. 11 1/8" l x 7 1/8"w. This oval platter commemorates the operetta HMS Pinafore by Gilbert and Sullivan. The cap band of the character on the deck has the last 5 letters of the word "Pinafore." Scalloped edges, base and shells are perfect. The inside left rim has a series of 6 surface nicks. (6220)

The maker is unknown for this 5 ½" plate, c. 1885.The plate is illustrated in Lindsey’s "American Historical Glass." Lillian Russell was known as the "Queen of Light Opera," and sang for 16 weeks at the Chicago World’s Fair. Perfect condition. (6110)

Polar Bear Water Tray Maker unknown, sometimes attributed to the Crystal Glass Co., c. 1883. 15 ½" l x 11" w x 1 ¼" h.. Frosted and clear. There are 7 medium to large bubbles in the glass around the rim and a few tiny bubbles in the surface. A white 1/16" glass impurity appears in the glass on the ship. Note the shear line. A hairline scratch runs from the shear line to one of the birds. No chips. (6138)

GAR Glass Platter This rectangular glass platter ( bread plate ) honors the Grand Army of the Republic which was organized in 1866. The GAR insignia forms the center panel. Engraved in small letters on the medal in that center panel is " Grand Army of the Republic Veteran 1861-1866." United States shields decorate the corners. Illustrated in Lindsey "American Historical Glass. " 11 1/8" l x 7 5/8" w. c. 1870-1880. Excellent condition. (#5593)

Dog Rabbit Series Bread Plate Scene II Made by Gillinder & Son, c,1880, also called "Boys in Cart." This is the second in a series of 3 scenes depicting the cart ride. 10 3/4" wide handle to handle. The center is frosted. A few minor surface scratches on the clear glass rim, a series of ¾-1" long scratches on the underside top in the frosting. The table rim edge has a 3 ¾" long section of inside edge roughness from the mold. (4318)
