cast iron candlestick phone stand w/light
This stand is only the 2nd seen in over 30 years of antiqueing. the gold colored cast iron base has a woman and a parrot speaking into a horn cast into each side. On top of that is a circular wood base with a pull-out shelf and a rotating inside shelf which holds the original phone.[see images]the 4 colums are fancy brass and the top has 5 cast iron finials. Inside the top cover is a porcelain bulb holder for a small light bulb.
The other stand I have seen had a cylindrical glass enclosure which is missing from this one. There is a chip out of the replaceable bakelite mouth piece
