Tiffin Classic Draped Lady Dancer Scarf Bird Etch Pink 6 inch Plate This is a hard to find piece of elegant glass from Tiffin! The etched pattern is Classic, which features a center medallion of a dancer with a flying bird surrounded by swags and scrolls. The barefoot dancer is saved from being fully nude by draped scarves. This is a lovely etch that is scarce in crystal and even more difficult to find in pink. You are bidding on one plate, 6 1/4 inches in diameter, that is the size used today for bread and butter or a small side dish. My reference books refer to this size as a sherbet liner or champagne liner.

Base has a ground rim and it's neat to see how the etch continues right though the ground circle to reach the center of the plate. Plate is excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, good clarity and only minimal minor wear on the plate surface. There are several scuff areas on the rim, ranging from 1/32 inch to 1/8 inch long.
