This is a pair of vintage men’s Florsheim shoe trees made by Rochester Shoe Tree Co. The shoe trees are made under US patent 1599900 and design patent 98180. These vintage shoe keepers date back to the mid 30’s. The toe section is made of cedar and the handles are beautiful red bakelite with the Florsheim name in gold. The toes expand for variable widths and the length is controlled by a spring action. The shoe trees are in very good conditon with some no harm nicks in the wood and some slight abrasion of the plastic handles. These are still perfectly functional and make wonderful display pieces for the vintage clothing collector.

This is a pair of lovely Nevco (Japan) ladies shoe keepers. The toe portion is aluminum finished in a bright blue. It is approximately 1/2 wide at the toe and 2 1/2 inches at the widest point and 3 3/8 inches long. The body of the shoe keep is a tightly coiled spring. The heel portion can be adjusted for length. The design of this shoe keeper makes it functional for women’s shoes and for those pointed toed boots. There is a small amount of paint missing from the toe section. But still this pair of shoe keepers displays beautifully.
