Crown Ducal Floral Clover Shape 3 Section Dish Perfect for decor or serving use at Easter time, this Crown Ducal English Staffordshire 3-section clover shape dish is simply beautiful. It's about 9 inches diameter with three scalloped clamshell or clover leaf sections, one a little larger than the others. The raised center has a 3-hole handle with embossed blue painted flowers. The dish is embossed with closely spaced, thin ridges and raised flowers and leaves. The floral decoration is a pretty mix of pink, blue, yellow, and white flowers with a brushed blue border around the scalloped rim. In excellent condition with no damage.

Consolidated Opal Glass Vase Handpainted Violets This pretty little opal milk glass vase was made in the 1930s by Consolidated Glass Company. The attractive bulbous ribbed shape was used in their Catalonian line, and the painted violets decoration was used extensively in the later milk glass Con Cora line.

The vase measures 3-3/4 inches high and is 3-1/2" diameter at the rim. It has no chips or cracks though there is wear to the gold decoration around the rim as shown. The hand painted violets design is signed with the artist's initials MD or JD.

9394

Glass Red and Black Oriental Style Crane Scene Vase I have two of these vintage elegant glass vases. They're tall and slender ginger jar shape, 10 inches high by about 5 inches wide at the shoulders. Shiny lacquered-effect black bases and rims frame the silk screened red graphics of an Oriental style cranes in flight scene with swampy marsh grass, tall pine trees, and moon or sun. The scene is duplicated on both the front and back of each vase. They are in excellent condition with no damage or graphics wear. I'm 90% positive the vases were made by Bartlett Collins, possibly part of their Ming pattern line. Price is per vase.

10914

Cambridge 1920s Black Amethyst Sweet Pea Vase This is the number 94 Sweet Pea Vase in black amethyst by Cambridge Glass Company from the 1920s. The wide flared rim and pillar base makes it an ideal centerpiece with or without flowers. Held up to the light, the rich black glass becomes a deep shade of bright purple. It measures 5-1/2 inches tall by 8 inches diameter. There is linear gold trim around the base and rim which has some scratching as shown in the last photo. The glass itself is in excellent condition with no damage or deposits.

9881

Indiana Pink Octagon Glass Candy Box This pink glass candy jar or box has an octagonal shape. It was originally produced by Fostoria, then later Indiana Glass Company bought the mold when Fostoria went out of business. I presume this is the newer Indiana version.

The color is sort of peachy pink with a faint amber undertone, a little pinker than the picture shows. The glass is crystal clear with no flaws or damage of any kind. The candy box measures 5-3/4" diameter by 5-1/2" high and is in perfect condition.

9706

Viking Amberina Yesteryear Large Compote This fine quality amberina glass compote or comport was made by Viking Glass Company as part of their Yesteryear line. The EAPG-like patterns in the line did not have specific names, the company just assigned stock numbers to each piece.

The compote measures 7-1/4 inches high by 8-3/8" diameter across the ruffled rim. The colors range from rich, deep ruby red at the top, gradually lightening to gold at the base with red highlights within the glass at the lower stem and around the edge of the base. It's in perfect condition without a hint of wear or damage.

10906

Biomorphic Scalloped Copper Bubble Rim Dish With Ball Feet This solid copper oval dish or bowl isn't marked but I believe it dates to the 1940s or 1950s - it has a nice Mid Century Modern biomorphic look. It's 8-3/4 by 5 inches, standing about 1-1/2" high on four copper ball feet. The sloping sides are scalloped with a convex bubble design around the rim. There are a few light marks to the finish and small patches of lighter patina in the bottom, no doubt from something displayed in the center for many years.

German Blown Art Glass Reindeer Trumpet Vase Circa 1930, 2 Available An exquisite hand blown art glass reindeer vase from 1920s to early 1930s Germany. The delicate white deer is mounted in front of a trumpet shape bud vase in clear and yellow striped glass. The yellow stripes are blown into the glass, not painted-on or applied. I have two vases, virtually identical. Total height to the top of each vase is 6 inches. The reindeer in the first four photos is about 2-1/2 inches long, the next four pictures show the second vase where the reindeer is a bit longer, just under 3" from nose to tail. In amazingly perfect condition with no breaks, chips, or damage at all. One or both of these beautiful pieces will display wonderfully at Christmas or any time of year.

Raggedy Ann and Andy Vintage 9 Foot Roll Contact Paper Wallcovering This roll of vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy Con-Tact paper is complete and uncut though it does not have the original plastic cover wrapper. It dates to the 1970s or early 1980s and is 9 feet long by 18 inches wide. Unused, but because it was stored without the wrapper there may be dust or soiling along the edges.

For those unfamiliar with this product, Contact paper is a vinyl-like self adhesive plastic used to cover walls, shelves, bookcases, boxes, or just about anything. The design features 5 different scenes of Ann and Andy in various sizes. Artwork is signed T.M. Raggedy Ann/Andy. No tears or visible stains.

Butterflies Cloisonne Pin Tray or Dresser Dish This pretty, old cloisonne dresser tray or pin dish is oval shaped, 4-1/4" by 3-1/4" diameter. The design features six colorful butterflies in pink, blue, green and white on a deep cobalt background with a blue and green scalloped border. The underside is enameled solid green. This is an old piece of cloisonne, unmarked. There is a bit of very light, faint age pitting but no chips to the top side. The bottom has some minor edge chipping to the enamel around the brass rim. The dish does need light cleaning but I wasn't sure what to use so I left it alone.

Mid Century Biomorphic Copper Centerpiece Bowl This Eames era hand wrought copper bowl has a curved biomorphic trefoil design on three curved brass legs. About 10 inches diameter by 4 inches high at the top, it's perfect for displaying fruit, flowers, or even holiday ornaments. The softness of the solid copper has caused bumps in the bottom where the legs attach, and someone did a poor job of polishing in the past that left finger marks and spottiness inside, but the bowl does look beautifully Mid Century Modern when filled with almost anything.

It has now been determined to have been made by (Anchor) Hocking Glass Company in the 1930s, most often included in the Prismatic or Queen Mary pattern, though the pattern is not identical to Queen Mary.

The ribbed checkerboard patterned flared vase is 6-3/4" high by 5-1/2" diameter. It has no chips, nicks, cloudiness, or other damage and no sediment or water marks. Wouldn't it look lovely with fresh cut tulips or other spring flowers from your garden?

It's shallow with a deep rim, heavily decorated with pretty repousse flowers and leaves in high relief. The bowl is 11-1/4 inches diameter by 1-3/4" deep. Lovely Art Nouveau look to the design, though the piece was made some 50 years after the Nouveau era.

The bowl has a substantial weight for a CG piece, it's obviously an earlier issue. There are no dents or dings. The bowl had some bad stains inside and has been recently cleaned, It has no lacquer finish and will soon develop a darker patina if left unpolished.

10308

Set Peter Bates England Carved Cameo Wall Plaque Hangings A set of three 1970s carved cameo wall hangings or plaques, made in England by Peter Bates Miniatures. There are three different exquisitely detailed carved cameos mounted in 3 inch round brass frames under convex or bubble glass. Only one has its original label - the Boy And Girl In Cameo depicting two Fragonard Renaissance style lovers in a garden. Another is a bouquet of flowers, the third is a Grecian style scene of a mother and young child seated at the base of a tree. The carvings are multi-dimensional and nice quality, but I don't know what the carved material is. The frames are backed in gold velvet fabric. All three are in very nice condition. Please pardon the dust and glare in my pictures - the cameos were photographed shortly after removal from the wall of a local estate.

10655

Heavy Crystal Ashtray Mounted on Metal Cherub Base You have to look closely at this Mid Century crystal and cherub piece to determine that the pressed glass at the top is actually an ashtray rather than a comport. It's mounted on a gold painted cast metal cherub base and was probably made in Italy in the 1960s. The ashtray is a little over 5-1/2" diameter, the overall height is nearly 7 inches. There are a couple of tiny, pinpoint scratches inside at the base of the molded glass risers forming the cigarette rests, no chips or damage. The glass in the photos is picking up reflected colors from the base and other items in the room, sorry.

Norcrest Dresden Rose 3-Section Tidbit or Candy Dish I remember a porcelain candy dish just like this on my Grandma's side table, usually filled with those little pastel pillow mints.
