Image is of a lovely cup and saucer set, made during the Art Nouveau period, early 1900. Epiag is made in Czechoslovakia. EPIAG companies were a class of separately run porcelain factories till about 1945 were merged into Starorolský Porcelán. Some factories though continued to use the Epiag mark. Epiag started back in 1918 by the Vienna (Austrian) government, and named OEPIAG (Österreichische Porzellan Industrie AG - Austrian Porcelain Industry). In 1920, to reflect the creation of the new country, Czechoslovakia, the name was changed to EPIAG (Erste Böhemische Porzellan Industrie AG - First Bohemian Porcelain Industry)
