Rare Antique Turn of ther Century Antique Jordan Wakefield Company Hexagonal Wicker Table This is a very rare table because it has a Jordan-Wakefield Company label. That company has never been noted in any wicker reference as far as we know. It must have been a very short lived branch of the Wakefield Rattan Company before they merged with Heywood Bros. and Company. The hexagonal braided top lifts off. It has a plate glass that fits under the braided top. You can add fabric under the plate glass to tie in other fabric in your room. Cane wrapped splayed legs connect with a cane wrapped stretcher and end in fancy twist-wrapped ball feet.

Very Rare Natural Antique Museum Quality Ornate Victorian Wicker Photographer's Divan This is a very rare, museum quality Victorian photographer's divan. It has an asymetrical design. The crest is a serpentine roll that flows from the arm across the back, tapering and ending in a curlicue. The back is elaborate with ribbons and loop designs and fancy beadwork that gives the piece an oriental look. Victorian wicker pieces that retain their original green and natural finishes are rare and highly collectible. The reeds and beads were dyed prior to weaving. The cane seat is original. The post that supports the curlicue has fancy reedwork applied over the cane wrapping. The stretcher is cane wrapped and the cabriole legs have fancy cane wrapping and are adorned with beads and curlicues ending in brass caps. This wonderful Victorian photographer's divan retaining its original natural and green finish and its Heywood Bros. and Co. paper label. A piece of this rarity almost never reaches the marketplace. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a museum quality Victorian wicker photographer's divan in excellent original condition and finish.Circa 1890's.

Ornate Antique Wicker Photographer's Bench This is a rare and ornate Victorian antique wicker photographer's bench.
It is shapely with elaborate design's throughout. It has a curlicued crest with a fancy hand-caned back panel. A scalloped edge forms a gallery against the woven arm which continues into the scrolled, woven seat, decorated with a woven diamond design. Cane-wrapped splayed legs end in brass caps. Circa 1890's.

Pair of Antique Victorian Wicker & Gesso Picture Frames w/ Matching Pastel Paintings This is a very showy and rare pair of antique Victorian wicker and gesso picture frames with beautiful pastel pictures. The pastels are in excellent origional condition except for a very small area where the pastel color has rubbed against the glass on the summer picture. The pastels are both well done with captivating and colorful scenes. The frames have elaborate gesso designs with wicker curlicues and scrollwork. The frames retain their original paint with gold highlights. This is a rare opportunity to own a matching pair of ornate wicker frames in old finish with such appealing original pastels. They both retain their original glass,wood backing and wire hangers.

Rare Natural Antique Victorian Wicker Platform Rocker This is a very rare natural Victorian wicker platform rocker with a musical lyre design woven into the back. Very unusual and interesting woven contoured headrest. Shapely designs throughout. The roll is very shapely with interesting and defining weave pattern changes. The musical lyre back is framed by curlicues. Tha lyre is formed by curlicues, beadwork & braided reeds.
The seat is contoured and woven with reedwork and curlicues under the arms. The base has an arched roll with weave pattern changes. Below that, shapely reedwork and curlicues ending in fancy twist-wrapped ball feet. This is a large comfortable and ample size platform rocker. It retains a nice original natural finish. This is an exceptional natural Victorian wicker rocker. Circa 1890's. Attributed to Heywood Bros. and Wakefield Co.

Rare Antique Ornate Wicker Pedestal Fernery w/ Swags of Flowers This is a very rare and ornate wicker pedestal fernery. The basket top is highly decorated with a basket weave pattern and applied blue ribbons and swags of pastel colored gesso flowers. The pedestal has lovely detailed Art Nouveau influenced applied leaf designs. The circular wood base is also highly decorated with applied ornate carvings. This unique and rare fernery retains a wonderful original finish.

Rare, Shapely, & Ornate Antique Victorian Wicker Vase w/ Decorative Gesso Swags of Flowers, Ribbons, & Roses This is a very rare and ornate antique Victorian wicker vase that has been highly decorated with swags of ribbons and roses. The vase is tall, shapely, heavy, and very substantial. This piece is in excellent original condition except for a few small pieces of gesso missing on one side. Wonderful original finish. This is a museum quality piece. Circa 1890's.

Rare Fancy Victorian Antique Natural Wicker Wall Pocket This is a rare natural Victorian wicker wall pocket. This piece has elaborate designs throughout. Under the curlicued crest is a panel of fancy reed-work. There is a fancy curlicued panel in the front section that is framed by fancy reed-work and cane wrapping. Curlicue and reed-work throughout with a wood bottom framed by braiding with arched supports and a sweet little scalloped skirting. Circa 1890's.

Rare Ornate Antique Victorian Wicker Beaded Table Wakefield Rattan Co. This is a very decorative beaded early Victorian wicker table. The wood top is embellished with fancy beaded edge. Fancy stick and ball panels and curlicues make up the skirting. Cane wrapped splayed legs have birdecage design and curlicues ending in brass caps. The stretcher forms a bottom shelf with curlicues and reed circles.

Lg Fancy Antique Victorian Wicker Tray Decorated w/ Floral Gesso / Barbola Swags This is a rare antique Victorian wicker tray that is highly decorated with swags of gesso flowers with a beautifully gesso decorated top edge and tray handles. The bottom edge is decorated with gadrooning. The print is original to the piece and is under glass. It has some slight discoloration evident in the photos. The tray retains the original gold paint with some paint loss and age appropriate wear. This piece is in excellent origiional condition. The bottom is nice old worn floral tapestry fabric over wood. Circa 1890's.
